These days i decise to give up to solve her sleeping problem, maybe she's the one who only need min sleeping! ?-( My strategy is that i'll assume that she will wake up at midnight, so that my temper will not be too bad during handling her. Hoping that in one day, she will sleep through night.

My ex-boss has also asked me to do part-time job before. But at those days, Lam Lam was still small and very fussy. No one could take care her. So i give up the offer. I think it'll be good to have some part time job, beside 私己錢 (i want more too!!), we will not be too "remote" from the working environment.

It's really worth to be a full time mom. In these few days, Ralph is getting more funny. He can walk a few step by himself. But like a drunk. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
He can pronounce "S", "go" and "boat". Also he can pronounce Father and grandfather in Manadrain.

Thanks all mummies here, I will do my best to give the best to my baby, I think it is really worth to watch bb growth , esp in the firs 2 yrs of which his character develop.
In these few days full time mum period, sometimes when I feed him and he sleep in my arm, suddendly [size=x-large]I felt so touch and my eyes turn wet !so amazing to have my own child and so great that I can see him everyday (although sometimes he is so naughty that drive my crazy :evil: )

You are exactly right. The feeling of having our own bb is really amazing. I still remember when I'd just delivered Anson in the hospital, I even couldn't sleep at all in the first 2 days in the hospital. On one hand, I needed to breastfeed him in every hour; on the other hand, I would like to look at him sleeping rather than sleeping myself. It's exactly what u said......so touching and having wet eyes !
I think boys are really much more naughty. Just a few minutes, Anson can turn the sitting room upside down :evil: ! I always say to him: ' Wow, 你拆樓呀!' ...... Now, if he messy up the place, he would say himself ' Anson 拆樓呀!' . 真係比佢激到唔知好嬲定好笑!
Try to enjoy every moment and only remember those happy things, life would be easier !

Being full time mum is the most rewarding job in the world.
I have been taking care of my baby since birth, but I can't give you any timetable cos mine doesn't sleep much and it is very hard to fix her time. Though I'm sure babyso's timetable will be very helpful.

I've finally sign the new contact with the maid I told you guys about at the CNY gathering. Although I found a younger maid (24) who also worked in Singapore for 4 years and had experience taking care of 18mths baby and pretty good english, I finally decided the older one (30) after talking to her on the phone, she seems very nice. Anyway, wish me luch lah, hope this one really helps lah!

Actually I started to feel sick after we had the gathering. The doc said it's flu. Worst thing is my hubby caught I cold couple days ago and when I'm just starting to feel relief that Natasha didn't caught anything from us... she has a fever today :cry: . Thank god it's not too high. Had an appointment with her doc tommorrow for the kindergarten health check anyway, so I should know what's wrong this time. (Hope he will go ahead with the health check cos the orientation day is this Sat).

Ralph grows so fast, he knows so much thing already. I think playgroup really help. These days i've enrolled many playgroups for Lam Lam, both 協康會 and 保護兒童會 are on the waiting list. I've also enrolled the trial class of My gym and little gym.

Have u tried little dynamites before? I see that they're doing promotion for BK and have Mandarin class as well! It really expensive to enroll so much playgroup for bb!

Ralph is joining the mandarin class in little dynamites. The teacher Ms Lau she is quite good. U can try the trail class first.
Natasha's fever stopped after one day, but she started to have some sort of rashes since yesterday. Went to see the doc again this morn, he said it's some kind of virus attack. He gave her some "siu yim" medicine for a week, hope it'll stop soon lah. :cry:
As for me, my airway is still very sensitive. Maybe I'll try taking some chinese med later.

I may try Tutor Time playgroup later. Although it costs $1500 per month if I let Natasha join the 1.5 hours playgroup once a week, it still save me lots of time from finding the right mandarin and arts class for her and the end result maybe costing the similar amount each month. The main concern is if I join the 10.30am class, I would have to leave home an hour ahead. Don't know if she'll be able to wake up at around 8am.

Today, Anson made me so happy again!
Recently, I started to 唸唐詩 to Anson when taking bath with him and when playing with him. Then today when I say 床前明月光.... he finished the next 3 sentences for me (一字不漏, 仲好清楚添呀). I can't help laughing when I heard what he said, coz I didn't expect him to remember them all. I think I just 不經意地唸了7-8次左右, he remembered them and do the action when he said '舉頭' & '低頭', it's really fun .
Besides, today when I was in the kitchen preparing the dinner, I was dropping something on the floor and making loud sound. He was playing in the sitting room and suddenly he yelled to me 'Mami, 小心d!' Haha....it was usually my hubby and I said to him when he's dropping something on the floor. And he said it to me, make me feel that he's so '大個仔' :mrgreen: ! Oops!~~ He's almost 2 now, time flies!!!
Anson really grow a lot and learn a lot since we first met. Responsible mother really play a great role in one's life.

I've reserve a place on the Monday morn class for the moment being. Will let you know more after the first lesson.
Today, I decided to start Flash card once again since I haven't be using them for a while already.
When I flash it from the very first card with one set of English and one set of Chinese only. Natasha said "baba" in mandarin after the second flash. (I teach her mandarin with the Chinese cards.) Really happy!
Though she loves to call her dad all the time lately but hardly me.
BTY, just wondering if there's any interval before two sets of flash cards. What's your way of flashing them?
Say I'm using one Chinese and one English for the week. I've flash the Chinese first then almost straight away with English and wait for over 1/2 hour before flashing the second round.
Or should I flash Chinese set 1 first and finished all three times, then English?
I'm planning to do 2 Chinese and 2 English and 1 encycl.
Please advice.

So happy to hear that Tasha learn so fast! With reference to 開心家庭網, You can show many sets of flashcard in one time, just before your baby want to stop. Therefore i keep showing 3 sets of Chinese words, 1 set of English words, 2 sets of dot and 5 sets of Encyclo (3 of them are ppt) each time, no need to take break between them. After 30 min, u can start over again!
I've started to show Lam Lam some couplets before, but she lost the interest on them. However she is very interesting on reading word cards recently. For word cards, actually i print on A4 paper and put inside a clear holder. Therefore i wonder she is interested in them cause i could flash them very fast each time. But for couplet cards, it's much difficult to show them very fast.
Therefore i think if we show the flashcard very fast each time, we could show more cards to them.
