HKMOS still does not have courses run on HK island, too bad! They have an online version but not really OM. Pls let me know if u come across something good.

CCheng & all,
I have called Panlloyds today. They will extend the deadline for 25% off purchase till Jul 20. But u have to be quick to get its free tickets to Book Fair as they are running out. The guy said they have given out 5-6,000 of tickets already! That means many parents buy their exercises! OMG!

The scenery here is so nice, looks exactly as in the postcards, calendars, place that Heidi & Peter Rabbit lived. Bell sound from the cows, sheep. Horses on the road. Great Valley with lake, river. Cottage up the hill. Feeling I'm in the middle of nowhere. It's really wonderful...except there're so many bugs, flies, frogs, spiders, little creatures...

I'm leaving tomorrow, finally coming home.

No sure if 印度式數學 can be found in book fair. As I may not go to book fair this year, I will order from HK book city instead.

I love the scenery of Swiss too! It's very much alike the scenery shown in "Heidi".

Do you want to check the Indian book from book fair first?

I can do this as I know this speed calculation method.

Take 67 x 63 as an example.

Conditions of using the speed calculation method:
1. 2 numbers multiply each other
2. Their last digit can add up to make 10
3. Their first digit or first 2 digits are the same

Referring to condition 2 above, then the last 2 numbers of the answer must be the multiple of themselves i.e. 7x3 --> 21

Referring to condition 3, the first digits multiply itself plus 1 --> 6 x (6+1) = 6 x 7 = 42

Hence answer is 4221.

95 x 95 = (9x10) (5x5) = 9025

114 x 116 = (11x12)(4x6) = 13224

Just booked a package to Chimelong for 3D2N in Aug.

We'd been there 4 years ago. This time we plan to go to waterpark, paradise, circus and zoo.

Brilliant (indian maths) method... never thought about that! Must have some other tips in the book. Feels like buying one too. Can I join your order? How much did u pay for 3d/2n in Chimelong? We went there last year. You must go to the Waterpark! It's the biggest in Asia (I can confirm that!). Are u staying at the new wing of Chimelong hotel?

I don't know if panlloyds will give 25% off at Bookfair. But I honestly don't want to carry the exercises as my back ached in the past few years I went to Bookfair. I received a leaflet from Classrooms for 20% off too with free delivery, but no Bookfair tickets.

Yes sure. Will count you in when I order the book from HK bookcity.

I paid around $4,2xx for the package (incl room at new wing for 2 nites, tickets for all spots and transport).

Regarding the Chimelong Waterpark, is there any min height requirement for some of the games?

Kv is just 134cm tall, I'm afraid he is not allowed to play most of the exciting water games!

After going to book fair, pls bo-liu to us if you find good and cheap books la.
