I've check the 氫氣球店鋪於中環. They offer @$9.5 for 60 氫氣球(only 1 size) & they have delievery service. It cost $150 to send to TST area.

So, please comment whether to buy the 氫氣球 for the babies? I was thinking to hang a key-holder at the end of the 氫氣球's string such that the 氫氣球 will not fly away, and the 氫氣球 could be tied at the babies' hands or baby strolleys. We could have 1 氫氣球 for each baby (i.e. 52 balloons) and the rest of 8 will be hanged at the stage for decoration and photo taking. What do you think?

In the original budget plan, I have spared $5 each for the 氫氣球, however, we should have enough money (around $10 per baby) to buy one for each baby. I will summarize the current budget plan later today for you to review.

Thanks, eggplanttomato. I'm afraid mine isn't that good as I have no design experience. Could you ask your husband to help to design maybe 2 more choices, and then, we could post all the 5 designs here and ask the mums to choose one.

All,

There are 2 types of 氫氣球: 橡皮氫氣球 and 錫箔紙氫氣球. 錫箔紙氫氣球 should be more expensive than 橡皮氫氣球. I personally prefer 橡皮氫氣球 as it is more safe for babies to play with. What do you mums think?

I checked the $9.50 balloons are plastic one. This shop also offers birthday banner:

Pls check whether this is OK. This is another option for us to choose. Around $45-55 for banner.

I checked other shop for balloons, it is around $10-12 each for plastic, plus $50 for delivery. So, it ends up similar as the Central shop.

AJ, could you help to check the custom-made banner, how long does it take to make it, i.e. how many days in advance do we need to place order? Thanks.

Sorry mums... as I under-estimate the no. of gifts and the size of the gifts that we received from the sponsor companies, I'm afraid it may take us more than an hour to pack the gifts into the bags and it will be a mess at Cafe Musical if we place all the cartoon boxes/bags which holds the gifts on the floor... may I suggest for some of us to meet a day earlier on Feb 26 to pre-pack the gifts into the bags? Please kindly comment whether this is OK or not. THANKS a lot...

勁呀jolly,冇錯,係patBmom呀,妳可以refer呢個topic嘅第17頁,patBmom話佢屋企係開花店,會有窿路搵氫氣球,妳不如call佢再問吓,有機會平過d舖頭喎!
另外我都覺得預先pack好d禮物會好d,不過妳要搵一個好地方至得,要夠大俾我哋攤晒d嘢出嚟慢慢pack,同埋pack完仲要d姊妹分工一人攞幾裝番屋企到生日會再拎去.我基本上冇問題.Thanks!

Huh... I need some advice... originally, I signed-up the waitlist to allow seat for my maid as I was thinking I might be very busy at the party in organizing here and there and be the MC... however, I found out that there is NO ONE bringing maid to the party... I don't want to be the only one bringing maid to the party as it will be very odd... ?-( ?-( ?-( any advice???

Thanks for the help. Let's meet at 3pm Feb 19 (Sat). I will let you know the address later. I guess we could finish within 2 hrs. We could then decide whether we need to call van to deliver the bags on Feb 27.

I will collect the bags from Elsa tomorrow morning.
