咁日本人學校既幼稚園會讀幾多年架? 會唔會同香港一樣分nursery/K1~K3跟住讀小學?

rachel要揀番家姐個間學校先有30分呀, 但係因為家姐間學校係荃灣區, 所以我唔想第日都係呢區度, 荃灣區得13間中學, 其中3間英中, 1間係中中(Band 1), 所以想轉番出葵青區, 不過算啦, 到時先諗.

今個weekend轉冷呀，得番13至14度。大家預備定d厚衫轉冬裝！

But I'm still struggling which kindergarten is good for my daughter. I've read Icecrm's comments and will research more information from my colleagues (各有各好-真係頭痛). Finally, I will talk to my husband and let him make a decision. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

- Strong Chinese and Maths
- Moral/Discipline-oriented
- Welcome by elite schools
- Advanced academic level when promoted to P.1
- Stress applies to their studies to encourage students to be independent in studies and homeworks
- English (Grammar and pronunciation also is good)
- Mandarin lesson with native mandarin teacher (start on K2 - once a week)
- Checked with KV - they've Phonics lesson with own methods and start on K1
- around 25 childs a class
- 有評估測試
- own school bus

Cons:
- No Phonics
- No extra-cirricular activities
- No 親子活動
- No Native English Teacher (NET)
- Stress applies in their studies since kindergarten
- 無分大仔, 細仔班
- 好多功課

SC

Pros:
- Strong in English with NET, especially in coversation
- with activity approach --> funful school-life
- Welcome by elite schools
- reading habit trained
- with Phonics lesson from K2
- many extra-cirricular activities and 親子活動
- many CCKG students (1/3) are from SC every year
- 分大仔, 細仔班, 可因材施教
- Mandarin lesson with native mandarin teacher (start on K2 - twice a week)
- around 25 child a class
- open mind

Cons (my worries only):
- less stress from school. Too happy school-life for 3 yrs, making difficulties in adapting primary life -
THIS IS A MAIN POINT THAT I CONCERN.
- dependent character, get used to rely on parents in projects / homeworks
- quite commerical
- less concentration

Both are very good schools!! However, I have no choice at the moment, I have to wait for KV's offer by next year.
