1.如炒了工作6個多月的工人,但外傭稅剛又交了6個月的,此稅是否可用於下一個工人?

ANS:{可以，但一定要用相同僱主名，及入境處只會保留外傭稅尾數4個月，所以要在舊工人離職日起計4個月內要入紙入境處申請新工人}

2.如2月15日至8月14日的稅已交,2月28日炒工人,那剩下5個月的稅是否等新工人到起計5個月不用交?還是不理新工人幾時到按原日期8月14日前不用交?

ANS:{當你新工人既visa出時，入境處會要求你補回一個月既外傭稅即HK$400，亦即係你巳俾新工人首期6個月外傭稅(退舊工人5個月+再補交1個月)下次再交稅會係半年後}

3.為何政府要求6個月交一次稅及在雇主已知不會再聘用工人6個月的情況下還要收全期6個月的稅而不退還?

ANS:{因為法例只容許2種交稅方式 1)僱主一次過交9600或2)分四期每期2400。已立法不容許每月付，即政府係唔會收你400，最低消費每位2400!}

I have a question regarding the levy. I pay the first levy tax on 17 Jan 2007 for 6 months, so can I still keep to inform immigration she leave on 15 Mar, but actually she will work with me till 20Mar and same date leave Hong Kong, then I can save one month levy.

ANS:{First, BE WARN that she is working illegally in your house from 16th March to 20th March. You as the employer of illegal worker is also illegal. Second, once you had informed the Immigration about the release day of your maid, her insurance coverage also expires on that day. Any unfortunate thing that happened in between her stay at your house is not covered.

Why you still want to keep her in your house for that few days after releasing her?}

她23/dec 完约(last day), 19/dec 開始放假到2/jan.07
2/jan 07 返到hk, Visa 由2 jan 開始, 3/jan 開工.

我想知由印尼來港是星期幾的機呢, 我知道一個星期好似得一兩班來港的, 我個印印下星期到了, 但是agent到依家都未話比我聽幾時黎, 淨係話下星期, 問多句都吾得, 你急佢吾急, 真激死.

Thank you so much. I understand from 16-20 Mar is illegal. I keep her this few day, due to her new
employer is not in Canada till 20 Mar,not one will pick her, so she want to go on 20 Mar. Also I did not sign the new maid. After she leave my mother will help me to take care of my child till my new maid coming......... So if I keep her 4 days more, mean
I have to pay one month for the levy...... don't know what can I do now.

ANS:{My sugguestion : Ask your maid stay outside boarding house from 16th-20th, very cheap only $50 per day only, instead of you need to pay extra $400 or being illegal. I know you want to help her but if anythings happen who will going to help you??}
