Jul 22 is open at 9am. I guess I'll be there at 9ish when the queue to enter is cleared. I found the bookfair was most crowded from late morning onwards. I hope to be there early to have a couple of hours walking at ease & finish my shopping. My son will join me in the afternoon - that's when my maid can't attend to him & I'll let him feel the bookfair atmosphere - he did it last year & he felt inspired.

I happened to go to CP today & knew about the promotion but didn't have membership card to enjoy the discount! So I just jot down a list of books I want to buy from Bookfair & hope to have deeper discount then :) So hard to convince my daughter not to buy the books today!! I can buy the maths book from u if it's still available.

One more thing. I called 1000 to terminate my fixed line but had no luck pressing the right button to speak to a human! Eventually I had to pretend that I wanted to buy some new services! But the girl was so persistent trying to sell me this & that & didn't offer me $38 a month when I said I wanted to terminate my line! She even said I didn't need to send them termination notice if I brought my no. to a new carrier x&%*! In the end, I insisted I wanted a form & the girl said she would send me one. I wonder if someone will call me to offer me a good deal!

I've bought tickets to watch Harry Potter tommorw morning and planned to visit Madame Tussauds and have afternoon tea at the Peak thereafter.

If Typhoon No.8 signal really hoisted, we're forced to stay at home all day!!

Interesting! I'm not sure if I will have time to go to bookfair this year, have to check if I can get dayoff during probation period. Just order this one for me if you are going to place order.

BTW, did you know that, if you use Star Card in TRUs today, you can get 5% off ?

I didn't know about it, bought a set of Star Wars Lego $1299, less 5%, then used all my 10 $10 coupons, plus the HSBC $50 coupon which can be used if purchase if $400+, but had to pay $0.5 plastic bag tax cos I don't have such a large BYOB, ==> saved $65 + $100 + $50 !!

Very good deal.

I didn't know about the 5% Star Card Discount. Why was there such a discount ? And for when ?

Now I have no more $10 coupons for this round lu, used all.
