Hi all, I've just read something about cheese from a baby recipe book:
"Chedder cheese is an excellent source of protein and calcium and is the first cheese to be introduced. Cottage cheese and cream cheese are also high in protein but low in calcium, and some cream cheese can be very high in salt and should not be given to babies and young children. Choose low-salt varieties. Cheese such as Camembert and Brie, etc, are not recommended for children under one year of age."
