Me too! I decreasingly include them when I buy meals nowadays. Though it sometimes depends on my mood for the day.
But back in those days when my good Bun was here, she was most of the time included no matter where we go and what we eat. I think there won't be another helper like this lu !! Sigh...

My C6 acts in same way. That's kind of dignity for man (I believe). They don't want to ask a helper, or a woman, to help themselves carry heavy stuff, which, in their perception,should be the duty of man. They may have feeling of inferioirty/shame if they ask for the help of a helper with heavy stuff.
