我姨甥女上星期被老總急召去瑞士採訪陳馮富珍參選世衛總幹事單料，跟足佢成個禮拜，依家總算冇白走一趟!!

今次得佢自己一個去咋，又要訪問，又要寫稿，又要影相send 番報館一腳踢，果度重鬼死咁凍

.... 不過後生女捱吓冇問題嘅！！ :mrgreen:

Disappointed re LONGMAN coz:

1. no many goodies left. those CD+ book cost $58 but many books could be released in mainland in future.

2. many phonics book but needn't have so much. think the cheap cheap J&J is good enough and indeed very very similar to LONGMAN's ones.

3. the super abridged Shakespeare's 13 books + CDs set is very 'old cake' in illustration. Contents all in dialogues format. Boring.

4. Lots of exercise books - not really cheap.

So.. I just forget it !!

Last night we maid the giraffe lever based on the teaching guide. With ready pictures for us to cut out and use in making diff machines. show it to you next time we meet la.

Anyone of you have bought the Pingu -book + CD+ tapes level 1 from DD?

My bee destroyed one of the cassette tape. :-( :-( :-(

How destroyed ? Pulled the long long tape out ?

He seems to be quite destructive woh,
1 book, 2 CDs, now 1 cassette tape.

Must severely tell him not to do so to stop it becoming a habit.
Tend to remember only when there are consequences.

destroy means 'destroy'. Tape is pulled out and broken. cassette no. 1 is gone!!

Originally planned to go tomorrow afternoon while I will be in CWB, I think I can just save the time & $$ now. I bought too much yesterday. Got a set of Noddy VCD+ bilingual books set (12x) in mongkok + some other vcds, hand craft books

Actually I like to Monkey Puzzle only as Jun read it serveral time in his summer school (playgroup). The other 2 baby books is quite funny, lift-the-flap type.

BTW, I saw the mainland version of Gruffulo, Gruffulo's child, Squash & Squeeze, Boom on the Broom, ~HK$11.9 x 20% off

RD cd can't be found in bkppl. la ?-( but the bk set (sell at CP in sp. price is $399) is now available in bkppl at 12.99pd. :mrgreen:

Agree with GC.

I went there last night and just bought a junior eng-eng/chin dictionary for Kv and a gramma book.

Others not worth to buy as they're expensive. A lot exercises found but not needed at this stage.

Say Ladybird books, they were sold at $20 last time, but price is raised to $29. Though buy 4 get 1 free, avg price still $23.2 --> increased by 16%!!

btw, Kv loves the dict I bought and learn to find out the meaning of "lava" last night!!
