KongSiuBB, Carman,
Just like what tautaub said, it may need to check different brands of cups before you can find the one your little ones like. For young baby, straw maybe a little bit difficult, better to choose those with sprout or nipple-like outlet. Be sure to choose the one which is leak-proof and the holes on the sprout is not too big. Also, some babies take longer to be able to use cups for drinking. Some even refuse to drink milk out from cups no matter what. Example: Spencer did not drink milk from a cup until he's 2 when he bite holes on every bottle nipple and daddy got mad to put all bottles away. He had no choice but drink from cups. Still, it took 2-3 months for him to struggle from drinking milk and drinking out of a cup. He instead refused to drink milk for a little while when he realized that the bottles are gone. For my daughter, I still dare to offer her a training cup yet as she's really picky on everything. In case that she's okay with the current way of feeding - milk from a bottle, water from a spoon - I would rather want to see her eat and drink more first. She only drinks 4oz milk or 1 small bowl of congee for each feeding.
