I did interview some of the parents and kids at the school bus stop in Lai-shing. The parents also said that the kids do not feel difficult about the syllabus. It is only the parents are too nervous. Most of the kids can catch up with all the things they are taught in school.
At this moment, I'm still struggling between SC and KV. I've already given up PC kinder.
I buy the technique of KV and I do think my kid can catch up with the syllabus. But what I really want is I want my kid to have more exposure to English and PTH. I think once or twice a week in playgroup is not enough. (THe most important thing is my kid cannot take any course alone, it makes me quite mad, everytime he needs my accompany). Putting him to SC is the only way to have more exposure everyday. Pls can any one give somethings more concrete for advice. Many thanks.
seems that SC fits your requirement more on language. it's difficult to fulfil all our educational needs in one single KG, i can only pick the one that most fits my expectation and needs, for me, i would like my son to be self-motivated and self-learn when he grows. and i believe KV can help build his motivation from an earlier stage, and this is essential for his learning span.
