mei, oh ic! i asked because a friend of mine (new zealander), whose daughter has been taking goat milk tablet each day however she had recently got bronchitis (spelling?) and was warned if this persists she may end up to "hau chuen"(can't remember it in English). I wonder if that relates, that's all.

Sapporo> I have stayed at Sheraton and Keio Plaza.
Sheraton near Suzuki area (city centre, stayed there at my first visit to Hokkaido, Sapporo and never bother to stay at Suzuki area anymore)
Keio Plaza near JR station 10 mins walk (I'd suggest this one if you need to take JR to other towns)
It really depends where about you would visit.
I would highly recommend Tsuruga Hotel (Japanese style) if you are going to stop over in Akan (Eastern Hokkaido) and Grand Hotel in Noboribetsu (Central Hokkaido).
Besides, if you like Sashimi, do visit local market for a bowl of sashimi rice!
