Hi all

!

Anson was sick since last Fri, cough, fever, running nose, couldn't sleep well for the last few days. Though he's almost recovered, just 1-2 sounds cough, I think he might not go to school tomo la, unless he stops coughing and running nose tonight

Oh! I stopped teaching 綱領 to Anson for long. Last time, I showed him 綱領 after I bought the 百科圖 from GC. But I found that he didn't stay still when I told him 綱領 as the picture I showed him he had already seen before, i.e. no more 新鮮感, he just looked/walked around, very hard to let him stay. I already stopped for quite a long time. Maybe I'll try again later to see how he response. BTW, last time when I didn't show him to cards and just tell him the 綱領, it seemed he's listening and nodding his head. Dun know if he is really understand or not

??? Maybe you just try it first, I think different kids development is not exactly the same, as u have already showed her so many 百科圖

......but u have to remember well the 綱領 first as u have to read them very fast, otherwise Andrea might be running very far away

Dear all,

Long time no chat la! Miss all the babies so much! Sorry to hear that Anson has been sick, he must be very unhappy cause he could not go to school yet. Wishing him recover very soon, so that he could enjoy the school life again.

How about Andrea? Also wishing her get well soon, don't let her mommy being "heart pain" again ar!

Little time to BK recently. Lam Lam naps less and less nowsaday, and i start to go to gym at night again! Cause i would like to bring Lam Lam to "swim" in coming summer. I'm reading a book called "How to teach your baby to swim", will share w u afterwards after finishing it. It teach us to let babies float in the bathtub first.

多謝你地關心, 我已經好番晒 lah.

為了補償媽媽, 最近我勤力學講野, 當見到我學過既野, 就會說出它們的名稱, eg : nanana (banana), blue, red, low (yellow), 車車, bus, eyes, ear, nose (hehe, 我仲會攬 mami 既鼻哥 lun tim), etc etc

How are all the babies and mami???

Anson is recovered after being sick for the last week. He started school yesterday. He was OK as I will be with him in the classroom in the first 2 days. Wait to see how he will be in school without me on Wed

That's sound great to teach BB swimming (my hubby and I are not good at swimming). Pls do share with us how u start with LamLam. Maybe after she learns swimming, she needs more rest and sleep as it burns her energy

How are u and Tasha? Manage to have another one for your household work? I'm still thinking to have a monthly salaried helper for 5-day week and 4hrs per day. I'd heard that there is something like that at 家務通 (though quite risky as comments were quite negative) with mthly sal $2.5K to 3k. But I want to see how will be the time arrangement after Anson is going to a 3hrs class per day.

As ah Wai left us for more than one week, i've to do all the cleaning myself, esp. ironing, it's a bit tired.

I've registered 家務通 for one week, since i'm not sure when ah Wai is ready. But still no reply from them. Maybe the economic situation has been improved, so that they 唔休做! Cause i only need 2 days per week with 2 hours each day. Sometimes i'm not very used to a stranger staying at my home for too long!!

Although the feedback of 家務通 may not be so good, but i think i've to try. Hoping that both of us are LUCKY enough to find a good one.

I'm gonna call Ah Wai tommorrow to see if she'd finished the sitting month job, if not, I'll probably try the maid agent at my church.

I wanted to try it too, but have heard many negative comments incl. the one Ah Wai told me, that's why I'm gonna try the church one although those ppl are not related to our church, therefore no guarantee either.

re: swimming
I'm also planning to let Natasha learn swimming this summer. Hope she won't be too afraid cos she'd never been to swimming before.

ALL,

Finally recevied the letter from govt saying that the visa has been issued!!! Will bring along all the doc to the dosmetic helper department this week to speed up the process. Hopefully, the new maid will arrive sometime end of Apr or early May lah!
Really can't wait!!! I'm sooo exstuasted now. Though there's still tons of cleaning up to do before the new maid arrive, hope I have enough time lah!

Well, I found it ok for Anson in these 2 days. He seems quite adapted to the environment now. Today, I was away from the classroom for an hour, he didn't look for me and didn't cry. And I asked him what did he do in the classroom, he jumped, jumped and jumped (that's what they did in the classroom) and sing the song '摸摸頭, 摸摸口, 摸摸耳.....' :lol: . He was so happy after the class

! I think that's OK wor! But he still needs to adapt to the schedules and the rules

.

Yeh, it really makes me headache to find a helpful helper. Have no time to look for one yet coz still adapting to Anson's new school schedule and didn't call 家務通 yet

All,

Sorry didn't online a long time coz my computer is crashed.
Ralph he is so great now. Coz he can recognize many alphabets now. Such as A, B, D, E, G,H, M,O,P and T. Now my husband and me always write the alphabets to ask him.

He not only can recognize the Capital letter but also the lower case. It's amazing. I think the phonics kids and the leapfrog are really work on him.

But the one thing is not good for Ralph is
:evil: :evil: When he doesn't like to do something or he want me to carry him but i ignore him, he will put his hand into mouth trying to vomit and getting my attention Then i must surrender

What can i do??????? :evil:

Wah!!Anson is so independent, he can go to school without u stay with him. I think not most of the kids can do.

Will call u guys later to have tea gathering if i go to HK side. BTY, Anson he goes to school at AM or PM?

Hehe.....話口未玩, Anson was crying in the class on Thur and Fri. In fact, he woke up on the thur morning with tears on his eyes, maybe having nightmare, he was in bad mood. And I asked him to go to school, he was willing to. But when he requested me to stay in the classroom, I refused and went out of the classroom, he started to cry :-( . Then today, I took him to school, he refused to go in the classroom and cried. When Ms Lau (his mistress) came out and took him to the class, he hold me and didn't let me go. Finally, Ms lau conforted him and he no longer cried in the classroom. When I picked him up, he was so happy playing in the classroom. Dun know what will he act on monday after this weekend

Wow! Ralph's reaction is really strong. Really difficult to handle. I think you have to stop him from putting his hand into his mouth instantly, but not to surrender and have to insist. Otherwise, he would use this weapon everytime he wants somethings. To Anson, I always insist. If I don't want to give him something, I would insist no matter what he did. Now he knows that, and seldom cries for something (but would do that to his daddy as he knows daddy would be surrendered easily

). Hope you will get your way to handle Ralph :idea: !

Yes, Anson is 25 mths now. He'd just been to the nursery for 1 week. His preformance has not been stable yet. I hope tomo he will be fine in school!

You're right. He's got sleeping problem since going to the school coz he used to sleep late before (after 12am) and got up after 10am. But last week, even we let him sleep before 11pm, he didn't want to but he needed to get up at 8:30am, that's why he got bad mood. In the last few days, he requested to sleep at around 10:30pm himself

. I hope after he get used to the new sleeping time, he would be better going to the school

.

I just visited 一一's website. The name is very meaningful. His photos are so cuteeee :lol: . He is such a happy baby. Do you take him to any playgroup? He seems very active.

Don't worry about the sleeping problem of Anson. Ralph got the same situation as Anson before. He slept very late and woke up late. But after he is going to school, he get used to sleep early and wake up early. Now even he gets holiday from school, he still wakes up early.

I know i should tough and insist to Ralph. But u know when he put his hands to mouth really deep, he will vomit and make an awful mess. Also he looks so painful. So How can i insist to ignore him :-( :-(

I know it's amazing Ralph can recognise many words. Even the teacher in his school also not believe me at the beginning.But he really did.
He seems learn how to talk now. When he looks at the car he can says car. he want to go outside play then he will go to the door and says "go go" a lot of words now he'strying to say.

I started teh phonics kids when Ralph was 10 months.But now he seems lost of interest. Coz he loves to watch the DVD of leapfrog.Same as phoics kids, teaches bb the letters and sounds.
"Leapfrog" is a band name. It has a lot of products. I orderd one of the dvd from amazon.

Ralph he also used DWE when he was 5 months. How's your process to use DWE.I think Ralph learns a lot of words from DWE.such as car, go, up, apple.... When he asks for somthing he will say "please" although the sound is not really correct.
