部份點心脂肪過高多食易肥 4月 13日星期三

調查發現市面部分點心含脂肪量過高，多吃容易致肥，其中以鮮竹卷、煎腐皮卷和麻香伴海蜇的含脂肪量最高。

食環署共挑選了七十五款受歡迎的點心，然後再從不同的食肆就每款點心抽取十個樣本，以化學方法分析這些食物的熱量成分和當中所含的碳水化合物、蛋白質、脂肪總量、飽和脂肪、膽固醇、膳食纖維、糖、鈉和鈣。

在脂肪總量方面，以鮮竹卷的含量最高，其次是煎腐皮卷、麻香伴海蜇、山竹牛肉與鼓汁蒸魚雲。吸取過多的脂肪總量，會導致肥胖、心臟血管毛病。

飽和脂肪方面，以椰汁馬豆糕最高，其次是叉燒酥、楊枝甘露、小蛋撻和豉汁蒸排骨。人體吸收太多飽和脂肪，會導致心血管疾病、糖尿病和乳癌。

含鈉方面，以麻香伴海蜇最多，之後是棉花雞、咖喱魷魚、柱侯金錢肚和蒜蓉蒸魷魚。人體吸收太多鈉，會導致高血壓、腎病和胃癌。

食環署建議市民，飲茶時先選擇飽點和腸粉，因為包點含豐富的複合碳水化合物，而且低脂肪。另外，每人每餐要吃半碟菜。咸點要適可而止，減少選擇煎炸類點心，吃米粉和麵時，不要喝湯，因為這些粉麵的湯含鈉量很高。

此外，由於飲茶的食物所含纖維素和鈣質較低，故應額外飲奶或芝士，亦要吃水果。

食環署顧問醫生何玉賢呼籲食肆經營者改善一些點心的調製方法，以降低它們的脂肪總量、飽和脂肪和鈉含量。她也就研究結果向中式點心消費者提供一些可達致飲食均衡的方法：

＊選擇含有豐富複合碳水化合物及低脂肪的中式點心為主食，例如蒸腸粉和包點；

＊每人應進食約半碟灼菜（以不加醬油為佳），以攝取足夠的膳食纖維；

＊在進食鹹蒸點方面，應適可而止，因為部分鹹蒸點含有較高的脂肪和鈉；

＊減少吃煎炸點心，以免攝取過量脂肪和熱量；

＊避免飲用湯飯或湯粉麵中的湯水。

　　春夏之交，小儿容易发生皮肤问题，这里面有多方面的原因，包括气温、日晒、皮肤暴露、花粉和昆虫，以及自身免疫状况等因素。

　　坏分子1：气候

　　春天的天气如同小孩子的脾气，一会儿大太阳，一会儿刮风，一会儿天边飘来一团云下起毛毛细雨。皮肤是身体对外界的第一道防线，起着阻挡灰尘、吸收紫外线、调节体温、调节水分蒸发的功能。小孩子的皮肤娇嫩，对冷热、干湿、日光刺激等变化容易敏感，较常发生皮肤问题。

　　坏分子2：花粉和昆虫

　　春天里百花开，小蜜蜂采蜜忙。而小蜜蜂的小伙伴们—各种小昆虫也活动在花草丛中。有时候，花粉和花花虫虫们亲密接触小宝宝也会惹祸的。最常见的就是那讨厌的蚊子，专门欺负小孩。

　　坏分子3：皮肤暴露

　　一天天热了，白天越来越长，宝宝的衣着越来越薄、户外活动越来越多。而且宝宝是勇敢的探险家，对什么东西都好奇，要用手抓一抓。于是，过敏、蚊虫叮咬、外伤的机会也增加了。

　　坏分子4：疾病和药物

民间俗称的“玫瑰疹”就是幼儿急疹，一种类似感冒的病毒感染，几乎每个6个月到2岁的孩子都会得一次，很少复发。最初表现为连续三四天发热，体温恢复时出现前胸后背密密的小红点，不痛也不痒。大约一周后，红疹变淡消失不留痕迹。生病吃药，药有时也是毒药。某些药物会引起药疹。

　　坏分子5：洗涤剂和护肤品

　　衣物洗涤后残留的洗涤剂，换季衣物中残留的樟脑等防虫剂，还有变质的护肤品，都属于怀疑对象。

　　坏分子6：敏感体质

　　这是内鬼。大部分过敏是天生的。敏感的人从小就有种种表现，对某些食物、药物和外界刺激反应过强。战情模拟—宝宝常见的皮肤问题瘙痒、发红、肿包—三大战情一目了然，但是往往病因复杂，很多原因连医学界也尚不清楚。轻的问题通过家庭护理可以解决，严重的需要就医用药。

I agree with Nillie_mami. I always tell my patients not to use the Q-tip to go inside the ear canals, it will irritate the canal more and may result in more earwax production. However, using Q-tips/ wet clothes to clean the pinna (the outer part of the ear) is OK and it acts like clearing the "trash" to encourage more earwax to come out.

Syringing the ear to clear the wax can sometimes be chaotic, but I knew some kids who just love it, because they feel so refreshing afterwards!!!!!!!

I guess 99 is 信唔過人. I think she would like to take care of the bbs if she can. However, she is living thousands miles away. Beside that, she is still working. I know she is just caring about the babies. But sometimes I feel lucky that she is living far away, as I am so used to living by ourseleves. I can't imagine what would happen if she moves in with us.

I don't think she would like me to become a full time STAY-AT-HOME mom 湊, as she always told me that it is good to be working and have some extra $$ for the family.

Since you are working from home, the in-house nanny should work out well for you. You can also keep an eye on her and the twins. I'm sure your 99 would prefer you to hire someone instead of quitting your job. I always thought that my husband's family would prefer me working but both my sisters-in-law actually said they appreciate a lot that I gave up my job to care for Natalie....I was very surprised to hear that from them. Most of my friends' in-laws don't like the full financial burden to fall on their son.

Little Fat Man,

Aiya...both you and Fat Man sick...that's not good. Don't go for walk these few days...maybe it has to do with the high allergy season. Natalie also has the peek-a-blocks, my uncle bought her the peek-a-block train set. Instead of putting the blocks on the train, she likes to take them out and press the train to play music....so naught...

I taught her ones on how to turn on the music and she remembers to do it now

I think she can learn bad and fun things really really quick

I saw the same "dim sum" article on appledaily. Now I cannot eat so much when I go drink tea. Someone told me to rinse the dim sum in hot water before eating it...it will reduce the oil intake ?-( ?-( ?-( ...but I think the taste will be ..... :-x :-x :-x

Actually, I was thinking that the in house nanny would work out great in my case, as I could check on her from time to time. However, my 99 can still think of all the bad reason not to hire them. For example, my 99 was saying the nanny might steal, harm the bbs accidientally and not letting me know etc, the worse case you can think of is that the nanny might open the door and take the babies out, then we might not be able to see our little ones again. All sort of the rare cases .... She insisit that if I need to hire a in house nanny, I need to work at downstair where I can monitor the nanny in every single min. I could imagine that I will be getting all sort of the distraction. Then what is the point hiring the nanny if I am the one actually "watching" them.

5月尾,香港天氣開始熱...25-30C不等呢!
香港尿片好貴, BB food好貴呀! 仲有呀, 連鮮奶都好貴(all prices compare with US's prices)..最記得1/4加侖2% fat milk(牛牛公司同維維公司)買HKD$34... 好貴呀! 飲慣costco啲平奶(USD2.49 一個加侖), 真係冇得比呢!!! :-( :-( :-(

Your 99 is quite paranoid. I think those are very rare cases that she's thinking of. Just make sure you keep all the babies' passports in the safe deposit and not at home. You can also hire a nanny that does not have her own transportation. If you are really really afraid, you can ask her to keep her travel visa with you. Honestly, since you're going to be at home, these are needless worries.

I agreed that all the things my 99 is worrying are the rare cases, and I have told her that she shouldn't be worry as I will be at home, I will be keep an eye on them. But she still worry, and call us many many times a day until we told her that we are not going to hire the nanny. I have decided that not to look for nanny anymore, as it is not worth to waste the time looking for nanny, and being turned down by my 99. It is a very time consuming process. I am going to watch the kid while working for now, until I feel really burned out, then I will resign from the job and being a full time stay home mom, and I think that should be in a near future.

I am happy for you about the good news in your job hunting. Are u going to hire another nanny to take care of Amanda while you work? How is the nanny search goes?
