Children's Benadryl is very common medicine for allergy and itchyness relief. did u also check with other local pharmacies? how abt Watsons? if not,
i think Mannings should have it but i know there's still no Mannings in Macau.
also, calamine lotion ("eat" "fei" water) is not even medication. i think we used it when we were little kids during summer.
Acyclovir (oral form liquid) might require doctor's prescription so u might need to ask your doctor for it.
if i were still in macau, i would ask my friend abt it.
anyway, we'll be heading back home pretty soon. if i don't get a chance to check your messages tomorrow, hope that Boo will recover very soon!
Thank you for your caring of BOO BOO. Well, I checked with many pharmacies for the Children's Benadryl . They said that they do not have it. Watsons only the one in 水坑尾have medicine. But for the Children's Benadryl , they would like to ask for the doctor's certificate first before they sell the medicine to me. We now have Mannings in Macau, but they do not have medicine fo selling.
Never mind, BOO 's situation is getting better and better now. She could control herself during itchyness comes.
i think the pharmacist might be afraid that you give over-dosage of Benadryl, coz it'll make the kids sleep. in US, it's just over-the-counter medicine and does not require doctor's prescription, coz it's pretty safe as long as u give the correct dosage.
but i heard that years ago a filipino maid feed the baby something like Benadryl to make the baby sleep all the times.
anyway, it sounds like Boo should be recovering pretty soon.
StephaineTam,
does nie-nie have stomach-flu "cheong wai yim"? does she have diarrhea as well?
hope she'll recover soon as well!
anyway, we're heading back home tomorrow night.
talk to u all later!
