Hi Doctor Yonex

My son is seven-month.
My son has been sick from 13Apr. At the beginning, he had fever up to 38.2 and a little bit coughing. And after 2-day medicine, we took him to another doctor, that doctor suggested him to stay in hospital for further checking as 條氣好喘.
In the hospital, already 聞氣four times, and no fever during the 2 days. My son was suffered from 急性支氣管炎.
After leaving hospital, he starts coughing seriously again and again (esp. after one-two hour of the medication)
One midnight, he coughed so severe that we brought him to the 24-hr clinic again. But my son was ok then after Dr's consultation.
However, up to today, my son is still coughing and sometimes wake up from his sleep.
Also sometimes, 37-38 (light fever) during the day, but maybe just last for 2 hours and the fever goes away with no medicine.

So, what action should I take?

我個仔8個幾月大, 佢自己一個人訓一間房, 平時佢可以一覺訓天光, 但佢呢個星期差唔多晚晚半夜都會大叫大喊又講bb話, 我地去睇佢時發現佢係合埋眼,應該係發緊惡夢, 但通常我地叫下佢摸下佢就會醒!
但呢兩日有兩次我同老公叫左佢成幾分鐘, 又摸佢心口仔, 又掃佢隻手佢都唔醒, 係叫極都唔醒果種, 直至我地抱起佢先醒, 就算醒左都有好一段時間好似諗緊野咁...我地真係好驚, 唔知點做好, 係咪要帶佢去睇醫生?
佢上星期入過醫院做手術, 會唔會係嚇親? 佢呢個月份係咪開始比較sensitive同怕人?

It sounds like a case of Wheezy Bronchitis. But of course we need to ruleout Whooping Cough(Pertussus). If U think the doctor is good and competent, consult him again for treatment plan and discussion. Can U tell me who is he/she?

My girl is 39 months old now, I found her very short, compare to other kids, she is now only 87cm,(not even 90) I heard that there is some kind of needle may help them grow teller. Is that correct? And is that helpful? Any side effect? Do you recommand?

These events is short lived. 1) Do check the environment for any annoyance, like the traffic-lights/sounds from the windows.
2) Keep the surrounding of the bed safe when he's wandering in the "night-walk".
3) Avoid any food that may contain MSG(味精).
4) Wake him up in every time in your arms. Give him hugs but not anxious atmosphere.

BB女剛剛出細（十二天）飲好少奶，夜晚8:00飲左2-3安跟住1:00左餵佢唔食早上6:00再餵都唔食（後來淨飲2）。 ?-( 點算好？

另外，好難“落間”掃極都唔得有乜好suggestion？

我囡囡non-stop咁流鼻涕流o左差唔多半年(starting from Dec 06), 尋日帶佢睇o左耳鼻喉專科醫生都話佢情況都唔係幾好...怕佢鼻竇炎同埋鼻o既兩邊含"農"...宜家開o左一個星期藥比佢, 食得好就唔洗覆診, 食得唔好(即係意思d鼻涕唔可以全部停晒)就要返去照x-ray...我想請問:

1.鼻竇炎有咩治療方法?
2.如果真係鼻o既兩邊含"農"要點做?洗唔洗做手術o架?

我BB 5個幾月大, 有差唔多17磅. 佢由細到而家飲奶都有D古怪o既情況, 我都唔知係咪佢身體有問題, 想請教你意見. thx!

古怪情況如下:
1) 佢有時一開始飲奶會"妹"個奶咀&慢慢食奶咀, 但係又唔啜. 好多時要"妹"一陣 (可能一兩分鐘或者幾個字)先可以啜得暢順 (但佢亦試過一飲就啜倒)

2) 佢有時會好似好想飲好想啜, 但係一用力啜唔夠一兩啖就會好似好辛苦咁伸直哂個人同個頭向後挫, 跟住就會喊或者叫幾聲, 好似想飲又飲唔倒咁

3) 有時飲到中途佢又會突然好抗拒飲奶, 俾奶佢佢會喊住唔飲, 但係喊喊

Dr. Yonex,
PLS HELP. my son has got fever since last thursday. after consultation, dr said he was infected by virus and fever may be last for few more days.

for the day b4, he only took panadol and the fever droped. yesterday i consulted dr ma at baphist again as bb was suffering fm cough, he gave me nurofen for inflammation and temp control. my son still got high fever at 38.5 after taking this medicine.

can i take panadol the same time? may it cause any harms to bb liver if taking these two same time?

Ans.: May just feed her 3 hourly on the day time. Let her sleep more at night then.

Ans.: Put her up on your chest for half an hour or so before put her back to bed. This will make the gas/air floats up on the upper part of the stamach and decrease the chance of vomit/regurgitate.
