Hello Threetoone,

My daughter is 15 months+, I just cant imagine she is so use to travel...I thought she may have difficult time to get use to new bed, new environment etc...but she's doing fine and happy all the way, just a bit afraid to go into water when i took her to baby swimming pool..
At first, I really worry about the water in thailand..but I use the mineral water all the way provided in the hotel..it is okay ar...to be safe, I boiled it first lor to make sure the water is safe..(I guess all mummy are like that!! hehe

)
I took baby food for my daughter, and some cereal too! she likes them and almost finish her food..I bought them in citysuper and some bought in Re-On.com, which is quite good ga..you can try try la..

becoz it is not possible to cook inside the hotel ( coz i live in Shangri-la) I never think of cooking there..the whole trip is ok, and for safe, I did not take her outside, just all the
way in the hotel...

Just realize from previous post that you got your metallic black 227!! Congratulations!! it is so pretty and I believe that the photo posted in PF did not do it justice, it is so much prettier shown in your photo....I start to regret not getting it last time...hehe..no la no la...no money!! I'm still waiting for my bc (should be coming next month)

and dark silver 226 ( still long way to go..waitlist#8..dont know when to receive lu)

same as Bobo1, after dark silver reissue, I have to say bye bye to chanel la..:-( :-(

As i plan to travel with my girl next CNY, may i know how u can make your 15 months old daughter sleeps or sits still on the plane?? I heard there are doctor prescribed sleeping pills for small children to take when they are on plane so they can sleep, do u try before??

As my girl always moves around and must walk away when we eat outside, just don't know how i can settle her on the plane...

haha..i know this is a problem for us coz kids like to move and walk around!!!...for me...i have a "weapon"

coz my daughter is so addicted to the "Disney mei yu" VCDs, so I bring along my laptop and play her the VCDs when I sense she start to do something naughty...she'll sit still and just concentrate on the show...haha

but when the plane going to take off, I and my maid keep on playing with her to grab her attention...and pacifiers for her is important to ease her ear and jaw pain...
not sure if this works for your kids, but I guess think of sth that they like to do to grab their attention may work..

actually i never heard of precribed sleeping pills, but i guess i wont use it, coz this seems not healthy gua..that's only my opinion!

Yours "distraction" method is a very brilliant idea!

fatping1, you can have a try. Well, yes, doctors sometimes prescribe "sedatives" for babies and kids. But I were you, I try not to give them, because there might be side effects that you can't manage in the plane, rite? Better to use non-pharmaceutical method for calming them. And soft candies are useful to "alleviate" their ear pain, ask them to "chew" if that occurs. Or else, if you girl still "suck" on the bottle, give them some water or juice to such during the takeoff and landing lor.

Thanks for your opinions.... my girl sometimes can concentrate watching TV for a while, but i'm sure she won't watch TV / DVD on plane and new environment, she loves to explore NEW places... i know her too well la...

but i will still bring portable DVD player, candies, bottle water etc. to calm her down la... i guess i will ask the Dr. for some "sedatives" for last resort if my girl acts too naughty on the plane...

i will ask your advice again before the actual trip... thanks!

剛剛回來了．我買左dark siliver 227了，不過我覺得好似同上次個隻色有小小分別，今次金d, 我在半島chanel試袋個時，已經有人眼望望個袋，真係好靚呀！不過我現在要午睡了，等我訓醒再傾同post相．

My little opinion here :

We travelled with my girl early this year to Japan. We joined the ExL tour. We started off @ ~ 9am and the whole flight is very OK with my girl playing around with the little gift given by the air crew almost throughout. However, on our way back, since we were flying @ night (took off ~ 7pm in Tokyo). She has slept while we were about to land.......this was terrible as she cried all the time but the male air crew was really bad in handling babies' need......he didn't give us any pillow in advance but need us absolutely put down the 'arm rest' between seats (while the baby was lying on our knees). I must say that I have missed out the important point that they would need the 'arm rests' all put down......anyway, it was a mess at that time (moreover, the stupid man sitting behind me has put all his luggage in the compartment above me so that it is not handy for me to get the necessities !!!!) particularly as it was the first time I travel with a baby and she was sleeping on our way to land. I swear that next time I should act and ask for a pillow before it was too late.......

So, don't choose any late night flying unless there is no choice...........or unaware as I did..........

Congratulations!!! I think the dark silver color is the BEST among all reissues colors la... may be the lighting will affect the dark silver color, u have made the RIGHT decision to buy it!!! Do u know if there is any left in HK boutique? just nosy...

It is so nice u can take afternoon nap...

我之前都係reserved咗dark silver 226 呀! 我都覺得 dark silver 係最特別嘅, good choice!!! (弊! 繞個圈嚟讚自己!!)
至於我個slimming program, 由於早排太忙, 所以有兩星期冇去; 但由於學咗d舞步都係要自己番屋企練習, so far 我都瘦咗4磅!! 雖然效果慢d, 但我實在唔想再用藥物減肥, 所以我暫時都覺得ok!

Hi sisters,

This morning news really made me feel so BAD & SAD... the 2.5 yrs. old little girl fell down from 8th floor had DIED la... so sorry for the little girl as she was just finding her mom after woke up... :-( :-(

I knew about the news too. Indeed I really "hate" to hear all these tragedies about kids. Really SAD!!!

WE all have to be super-cautious in taking care of our kids ar!!!

I am v sorry about her as well.....justs 2.5 yr old !!! ~ my girl..............

Well, my daughter was just 2 and therefore couldn't use the baby cradle.....she has her own seat.........and you know the seats have to be made upright before landing ga ma.....the babies couldn't sleep by herself while it is upright.....so, we laid her down on our knees.......and made the arm rests between seats upright lor..........but that wasn't permitted by that stupid male crew (actually, i wrote to compalin about him and the airline has apologized for that.....useless la ~~ it had happened lor)......I think it is more hassle-free if the baby sleeps during the flight......but then you have to wake her up before landing......otherwise, could resulted in the mess I have.......nevertheless, if you could get some pillows and put those on the 'arm rest' and fasten the seat belt of the baby during landing, it is OK.
