My Indonesian maid is very smart, she lives in HK for over 7 years, therefore, I don't need to teach her at all! Maybe I am Christian, and she is Catholic, at the beginning, we can know each other better by prayers. For example, I will talk with her and try to understand her personality, short/long term goal, family background...etc. Then, we pray together. Just let her tell the truth and show her trust to you gradually. God really have mercy on me that my maid is very sensitive, hard working and love Sheldon a lot.

Therefore, I didn't install any view-cam to monitor her job. Instead I will ask her to fulfill those daily task and request her to mark down on the schedule e.g. when, how much to feed Sheldon...etc.

I think the important thing is to know her more at the beginning and monitor her frequently by means of phone calls or sudden checking.
