i have both. 月供 fund. for long term is good, i rarely review my fund statements, so 'sum ching' not affected by the interim downs and ups.
for long term 月供股票 must be good. some of my family members 月供 fund abt 10 years ago now have 200% return.
月供 fund needs to pay management fee (some as low as 1%), but 月供股票 no fee (u can directly buy via internet banking, like HSBC).

月供 fund can diverge the risk as each fund has different kinds of stock in it (e.g. 1 of my funds have #5, Yue Yuen, #941 etc). 月供 stock can only choose 1, min. HKD1k/stock. i'd rather pay mgt fee to diverge the risk than buying just 1-2 stocks. unless u plan to invest a lot in 月供.

she only calcuate the one have sold that have profit ma, for those not yet sell still lost a lot, but one day not cut lost still not call lost law, isn't it, Jomei
