Your case seems similar with me! I have tired 2 years, also冇聲氣, 沒有明顯的不育原因, 我都估唔到我需要做iui.
我食排卵藥 + 打針, 我有4粒ｅｇｇ(much bigger)，有２粒有1.9ｃｍ, 你是否需要打安胎針? I will go there 打安胎針.
The process is:-
- Day 2, go to the clininc and Dr will check how is your ovary condition and then determine the type of medicine you should use
- As in my case, I have taken clomid before and still fails. So, Dr suggests go straight to injection. Starting from D3, will start injection until D6
- D9, back to clinic and check the egg size. Last time, my egg is 20mm and then he says it's OK and then 打破egg injection.
- Do IUI the other day.
- Two more injections to increase HCG afterwards.
He will let you do the injection at home. It's easy and not painful.
So, I need to have 9 injections for the whole process.
Dr Tay says injection is more effective than taking pills.
The procedure was not painful and felt like pap smear. It cost 2,000 and was done at my dr's clinic (Dr. Alex Doo at the Women's Clinic in Central). No need to go to another place to have it done.

it's good to hear that u have one big egg. 22mm is really a good size! so be relax, Chinpearly is rite, just treat it like a normal checking & that will definitely help a lot! good luck to u!
as for the checking of fallopian tubes, i think i did the same procedure as liliana, the dr needs to put in some liquid & did x-ray. the whole process takes around 15 mins & i didnt feel any pain, just a bit discomfort in my tummy afterwards.
dr ho mentioned b4 about 腹"康"境 which is a more detailed checking on the fallopian tubes, but in my case (which is the same as u, ie given birth b4), he thought it is not necessary unless several failure of iui.

actually i will also have my iui performed on wed afternoon. my husband had already left his sample at the lab. i was actually a bit "lectured" by dr ho as i insisted on going ahead w/ iui this cycle even though my husband is away, plus kept on asking him about the reason for failure on 1st iui, he said i shouldnt be so aggressive & should learn to be patient wor... :evil:
anyway, just went to check up today & there are 5 eggs, but not very big, the biggest one is only 17mm while the others are about 15 -16 mm. but i couldnt take another injection cos my tummy is already feeling very uncomfortable & dr is worried that too many eggs will be produced. will have the egg releasing injection tomorrow morning. just hope everything will go smooth & will definitely rest a lot afterwards this time.
oic, so the time difference is around 24 hours, rite?
btw, remember to take more rest these few days. the nurse told me not to carry heavy stuff & try to relax the abdominal muscle wor, & of course, being relax is very important cos our emotion will definitely affect the results.
