I'm back and give you some updates.
Yoho is merely a hotel and have 3 interconnected buildings, namely Yoho hotel, Yoho kid and Yoho bike. But they all share the same facilities.
Yoho have a total of 3 pools, two is side by side and another one is right next to breakfast restaurant and you must have a swimming cap (so, bring one or just get a new one at their stores, only NTD70). First one with water jets with slides (for kids below 120cm) with only 30cm depth of water. Another one is about 1m depth and gives you a feeling you're like in a river, not a pool. Why? Because it width is merely about 2 - 2.5m wide and twisted and twisted (imagine the pool's shape like letter "S". With that design, you won't call it a pool.
The last one, right next to restaurant is just another S-shape river. The only difference is it have a slide for kids above 120cm (i.e. adults are welcome to use). Depth is about 1m. With that, all pools are not allow to jump in and you must (yes, you must), use the stairs to get in or out of water.
I didn't join the "Tidal Guide Tour" but I explorer it myself. Expect the usual stuff like small fish, sea slug (at least 3 species) and star fish (only 1 species but a lot -- covering the whole sea bed!). But to get there, make sure you've put on sandles, a bucket (for animals collection) and a hat (sun tan). After you have fun with them, make sure you put them back in the water.
Restaurant. I did spend a evening at one of their restaurant (couldn't recall it's name as it have 2 - 3 restaurants). Again, didn't overcharge you but ... when I had my dinner, there's a mouse (about 8cm long, excluding it's tail) ran by. Tried to kill it but fail. Relax. All restaurants around the world have the same problem and the matter is whether you experience it or not.
And you need a car or something!! Yoho is in a remote rural area. Ain't close to downtown (15 mins drive distance). No Family Mart or 7/11 or MacDonnal's around. There's a small convenient store in the hotel (all items overcharge by NTD5 only but with limited choice).
Finally, Kaohsiung airport. There's only one food store in checkin area. Overcharge you (compare downtown) of all items by double. Cost about NTD180 for a noodles. No food store (only soft drinks) after Custom clearance. So, if that's a concern, grab some time before you leave downtown.
