It's quite common among philipinno maid.
My ex-maid auntie worked in Hong Kong for 14 yrs. She recently quited the job and went to Canada. In order to protect ourself, don't issue any recommendation letter to the maid unless she finish the contract.

唉，留得住個人，留不到個心，咪仲死！
小麥夫教his patients, 做個順水人情, write a good recommendation letter, let the maid goes happily 喎！ at least can "enjoy" the last 3 months in HK or so.
moreover, "seems" to be a good boss, and get contact with the maid's new boss, anything happens, it's easier to warn them or so.........

do you notice, recently the BK is very very slow, i don't know it's my broadband problem or the web problem, the reaction is as slow as the mowmowcow ! esp the lunch hours and the afterwork 2 hours.

however, 小麥夫已密謀將他的'寶貝"：Gundam & 中華英雄，教識小麥子玩。天呀！怎對付一大一小呀?!

車？all kinds of trucks and machines and cars and truck-books！seems cannot 阻止啊！he has a lot, really a lot (abt 4 boxes full). however, he likes them so much that he refuses to play with other choices. so i keep them up. only when he behaves well that he can play with the trucks for a while. hehehe, 1石2鳥！ :idea:

i just went to lok-fu jusco last night, the halloween costumes are a lot ! not expensive ones. also, no need to really "paint" on the faces (up to you lah, may be when they see each other with the pretty faces, they will all ask for it!)

i think the toyrus will also have, i have both the jusco card and toyrus vip card. may be a bit cheaper? anyone interested to go tonigt or tomorrow night shopping for these?

i think the fa-yuen street also have, may be even cheaper and more choices! but the jusco ones seems better quality. i even saw some at yaumatei 中南書局 (they just finished renovation, much bigger and more products, however, the shopkeepers attitudes still same poor 十年如一日!)

moreover, not just wear for 1 day in one year! as mostly they are the hat/caps and 斗篷, quite big, may wear it one more time next year!

where is sophyland staying?
how about babytang? parc oasis okay or not?

i may also book at our clubhse, but there is no supermarket nearby, so may be a bit more troublesome to arrange the party food for them.

nkkcal, are you not free on 29/10?
should we fix the date first, either at 22 or 29 afternoon/evening?

i am thinking to make some party food by ourselves, more "healthy" ones, e.g. home made ice-cream (anyone knows how?). i know how to make real-wheat cakes (no additives as the ready-buy ones). home-made jelly and pudding is also okay. moreover, healthy home made juices/blended sorbet with no suger added. anyone knows how to make healthy cookies?

have to think and vote and confirm fast！ usually these festival days the clubhse is easily fully booked.

Sophyland,
Wing Fung is not quite interested in Gun, Sword or Superman.
- Gun, he got one, but I rarely take it out. Once I hided it, he forgot about it.
- Sword, has not played before
- He does not have idea about superman, so won't interested.

His favourite toys are vehicles...trains..cars...buses..

Let's fix the location and date first. Is your clubhouse Okay on 22/10 afternoon ? We tried to have party around 15:00 - 18:00, pretty good, kids are very energetic after afternoon nap. And we won't need to bother too much about food, just some simple snacks for afternoon tea will be fine.

弊！just asked the clubhouse, both 2 function rooms were booked (1 month ago!), even the 桌球室 and 紅酒室都冇埋! :cry:
the function room is still available on 22/10 for the whole morning and noon, before 3pm.

how? change venue? change time?
but I think 3-6 pm is the best time for the kids (just finished nap, full of energy and in good mood!)
