My present maid's last working day will be on March 29. I want the new maid come direct without any vaccum time. But I also want the new maid's body check report issued before I bring her back to my home.
I learnt that it will take 2-3 days to have the body check report issued. During the 2-3 days, either one will not have insurance covered. Is there any better arrangement you can suggest?

The agent fee will include the body check in HK. But I will bring my maid for body check. Is it reliable? I have heard that if using the agent's body check clinic, it may not be so reliable.

但有人告知，如果我用呢個理由解僱佢，佢係可以以"僱主financial problem"為由，留在香港搵工，而入境處亦唔會批新工人給我。請問是否正確？
如正確，咁我用"婆婆會幫手湊小朋友"為由解僱佢又如何呢？佢是否仍然可以用僱主financial problem呢個理由留港，而不用返回原居地呢？入境處又是否會唔批新工人給我呢？

My maid will finish the contract on 7/9/2007 and I don't want to continue the contract.
1. Should I inform her on 7/8/2007?
ANS: {If you don't intend to renew the contract with her, it is considered as finished contract. There is no need to give 1 month notice in advance. BUT if you want her to leave on 8/8/2007 (this will be termination of contract because by law for finish contract you can only early release up to maximum 28 days in advance), you should give her the notice on 9/7/2007 (one month notice).}
2. If yes, can I ask her to leave on 8/8/2007? and should I pay her extra money from 8/8-23/8?
ANS: {Yes, but you the extra money (which is 1 month notice in lieu payment by cash) you pay should be up to 7/9/2007. Because there is a 14 days annual leave which you should pay too and not be deducted from the one month notice.}
Actually, I feel confuse about that and how I write on the termination letter?
ANS: {It is actually up to you to write what you want. You can just write briefly on you feel about her work and performance. e.g. 'Her performance is good/satisfactory' or just simply state the date she start work with you and the last date working with you.}
