tina,
相信abc事件真係對childcare需求有影響呀,但希望唔會影響到nathan啦,你同hayden讀埋同一間,咁睇日你同veron更緊密了.

jessica,
你都打算搬入point cook呀,咁veron,amy,tina就唔慌悶啦,你地得閒又可以小聚了.但你返工遠嗎?

我估我好大可能會book 7月11日 or even weekday,如果臨近都無雪係可以改既,今年都係咁改,但要視乎佢有無人book.我都明咁早未必有雪,但term3係july13到sept18,大仔明年又考u了,我地唔會中途去玩啦.咁情況,作為後備,不如我比埋個lodge info你,用你名義book定8月1日or even later既weekend,至少可能你,bearso,christi都三家人夠人book lodge.

Tina,

The staffs at Hayden's childcare are very nice, as long as you let them know you really need a place, I am sure they wont let you down. When will you put Nathan in the childcare? We plan to put Cynthia into Childcare when she is around 2.5 years old.

If the weather will be good this Saturday...I think me and my family will go...

Going to work from point cook should not be too far away....mayb around the same as from box hill to city ^_^ since my work starts at 8:30....n i still need to drop Matthew to childcare before that, so i should be arriving into city around 7:45...and i think at that time...it shouldn't have vyer serious traffice jam

just i hope hahaha.....

I knew there is a new childcare from FutureKids to open in point cook Oct 09, but I m not sure the location, www.futurekids.com.au, My son is going to this center at world Trade Center dockland and I think this center is good.... n for full time they just charge 370 per week (cheaper than all the others in the city). The ABC issue definetely will make the waiting list longer and longer as this is what happening to city's center...most of them have a min. 1 yr waiting time..

...so the best thing to do if you must have your child in center from certain date is to waitlisting as much center as you could by now to increase your chance of having a place.

Veron,

The manager is very polite and kind. Hope she can get me a place later ... but she said can't confirm yet.

Whenever there's place, I'll put Nathan in. He's already two next month, so should be ready to try something exciting for him.

( He ran all around in the childcare in town center. Didn't want to go even missed his lunch time and nap time!! )

Before he breakdown our rental house, better put him in childcare first. hahaha.

Hope can get a place and be classmate with Cynthia later.

自從星期二見完大家,就開始作病
星期五先知原來有隻小Ｂ係肚入面
而家先就嚟七週,仲有漫長的日子！

呢幾日都成日暈車浪,希望快Ｄ暈完啦

哈哈, Bamum88我見到你on-line 所以得燈同你say Hello, 好耐無上黎Mel Zone, 你諗你一定已經唔記得我啦.....

我原本計劃今年四月過黎, 但後來發現原來dealine係2010年, 所以諗住拖住先, 等到出年再算. 其實我未放膽過黎其中最主要原因係我驚如果我老公搵唔到野做, 我就真係唔知點算..壓力好大好驚. 我同我老公唔想分開, 所以一走就要全家一齊走, That's why我想拖住先算.

各位Mel媽咪, 其實我好唔開心, 因為我知道為左小朋友我應該過黎生活, 但由於而家既全球經濟因素影響下, 如果我老公過左黎又無份工真係會好sad. 其實每次我上黎睇你地個forum, 我真心好羨慕你地, 我心好想join埋你地一份, 但我真係好擔心如果無一份工係Mel生活如何....唔通全家日日你眼望我望??

有無Mel媽咪以過來人身份, 可以教下我!!!

我諗如果今次give up左, 我都想遲多幾年再apply過, 又會唔會再批比我呢? 唔知會唔會black list 我呢? 有無人試過apply二次都批? 用什麼理由解釋點解會give up the 1st time???

not too worry la...wht sort of job is your husband dong now?

example: bearso husband came around a month got a job....yy9 husband wait and wait few mth also got a job...

so depends the time when u come over and wht the industry look like...

don't always think 為左小朋友 sin 過黎生活that will make your life sucks...

Melbourne still a good place to live..

1) my 99 said the bus driver here is very good..he will wait for u and help u gettingon and off the bus...(that won't happen inHK)... she firstly don't like here too.. coz of 2 son is here...but when she living here more than 2 years....she think here is better than HK...ppl are nicer than in HK too...
2) See Doctor free...blood test free...X Ray free.....operation free....the waiting period is not long, not like the public in HK wait for 1 year...
3) the government give u Childcare benifit A & B to support u.... also put your child into care benifit help u a lot.....

there may be boring for most mummy who live long in HK, coz most of the shops close at 6pm..but hey u got more family time together at home than in HK...

I'm sure most parents will work everyday and didn't get close enough to their kids... but in here parents and kids relationship is much nicer...

sorry I talk a lot here...if anyone agree just forget wht I said...coz I had been in Melbourne for 16 years..I have different opinion...I raise my 2 kids here by my own,no maid help...sometimes 99 help a bit..so I still feel ok...
