No need to worry so much about prize and ECA. 不是個個小朋友有特異功能的! Cooking class is also good ga. It can show how good the parent-child relationship is. Projects a positive image about how much care and support the family is going to provide.

I think the organic shop mentinoed by LSW is the one located next to Mannings and below Lo Fung.

I can still remember I spent around 2 weeks lunch time to do Kv's p (scanning, photocopying, taking pictures, printing, editing, binding, ....), really a huge project!! Still wonder how could I do that when I look back!!

Hi KL,

My girl has completed both JMC and JXC. Both teachers she met were really good. They both provided ample opportunities for the children to ensemble. This is the only objective I want to get from a group class and cannot be found in a private tuition setting. The teacher of JXC even gave my girl private tuition FOC at her home. So, my girl is so fortunate.

My son has completed Music Wonderland and JMC. The teacher of Music Wonderland is fantastic. She knows how to lead the class and arouse the interest of small kids. However, the teacher my son met at JMC is not good.

She seldom let the children ensemble music. They way she taught was super outdated. So, it's one's luck to meet a good teacher. 真是要講緣分!

Since my boy does not show much interest in Music, to save time in transportation, I do not continue the JXC for him. I just ask my girl's piano teacher, who comes to our place weekly, to spare some time for my son.

A few days before, I found an old catalog of Fischertechnik. My son saw it and yelled he want to get one box for his bday present this year. Looking at the price

. Wow!

Did any mummies buy Fischertechnik before? Is it worth? How about the quality?? Do your boys like them?

got the ginger yesterday and gave one jar to my mum and ask her to cook with the beef tomorrow night. will try tomorrow. Pls pass my tks to your yan-yan for her hard work. For their jar, my mum's maid put it to the fridge immediately. I didn't put my jar to the fridge. but consider. My hubby said if you put it to the fridge, then the taste will hold and not sour further, is it ture?

No research / comparison done on whether ginger should be put in fridge. We just keep all jars in a cupboard in the kitchen, take out whenever we need / want.
But remember to use clean chopsticks / spoon to take it out. Otherwise may go "bad", as with any other food.

The notes are the spares I printed. Some I asked piglet to re-do in preparation for test /exam. But incomplete.
Recycling ah ma !!!

Will let you have complete set + change ($5) next time.

The one I found is at Quarry Bay. Jason joins their painting class. They offer some English course but only ABC Phonics and English conversation starters are suitable for Jason (from K2+). Since Jason is now K1 and I let him to attend the English assessment (free of charge) to see whether he can join the English conversation starter

The tutor suggests Jason to attend the ABC Phonics first to improve his pronounciation. The fees for group is HK$250/lesson (max. 6 person) and the fees for 1 on 1 is HK$350/lesson. I will let Jason to try a few lessons first.:lol

I think I will not let Kv go for it cos he's now doing choir, piano and violin, may not be able to spare time for new music class.

Re: Fischertechnik, do you mean the one sold at ETC? Yes, once I bought a box of cable car from them ... somewhat like lego, but more sophisticated, and the price was really expensive!! Actually you may need to buy several boxes of products (e.g. cars, motors, accessories, remote control etc....) to build a complete set!!

Just received a call from a friend who hasn't been in touch for ~9y. She is now ~52y, no kids.
Bad news : cancer tumour in tummy area, dealt with ~5y ago, now spread again.
