Dear All,

Natasha is feeling much better now. She is eating normally and playing as usual. Though she is still on medication cos the doc said she still has some ear infection. Need another follow up on the coming Monday.

Thanks for your sharing. I did tried to teach her how to use our hi-fi afternoon she disabled our DVD machine, but she is still exploring the machines and their buttons in her own way. Though she already know how to use the DWE DVD machine. Maybe I'll try again to see if she'll listen to me now.

The Mainland Bookshop's now doing 20% off for all products. I'd also bought Richard Scarry's 動物玩玩樂園 vcds ($33 for 5 stories) & Best Learning Songs Video Ever ($40) and of course some other books

!

Last time I bought from DangDaxx a box of 迪士尼經典卡通珍藏 (RMB88 for 24DVDs, very good quality), there is Snow White, the Three Little Pigs, Pinocchio........etc. Though I only watch a couple of them, I think it's really worth buying as all the stories are so familiar, both my son and I like them very much. (I saw in the Mainlaxx Bookshop, they sell it at $230).

In the last 3 weekends, I took Anson to the Repulse Bay to play with the sand. Wow! I got sun burn on my arm and on my back (though I put on sun lotion already), that's really killing me, very painful. Ha... but we really enjoyed playing with the sand and water. Well, not started teaching Anson swimming yet coz both my hubby and I are not good at swimming

. Maybe will let him learn later or next year by joining swimming class

I also bought Richard Scarry's 動物玩玩樂園 vcds . But Ralph he seems not vert interest of it. But he loves to watch Richard Scarry others vcds such as "Best counting and ABC" He learnt how to say "4", " 10" ," Airplane,Bus"... from these Vcds.
U better buy its. Coz 動物玩玩樂園 are showing quite long time. Maybe that's why Ralph he doesn't like it. :tongue:
Great to hear that Anson like to play sand and water. So nexttime if u come to DB, we can go to beach.

I didn't buy "Best counting and ABC" though I think it's good. I'd already bought some other vcds about counting and ABCs for Anson, like Barney. He knows Alphabets and simple counting. He now likes to watch 'movies', his favourites are 'The Incredibles' and 'Snow White', etc, though he can't finish the whole stories, he prefers something with stories now. Maybe at a later stage, Ralph will like 動物玩玩樂園

, I like their 配音, sounds very good!

To DB, good ah! But I wonder if Anson would be tired after school during weekdays

! Is there any school holiday coming up? Or Saturday morning would be fine ah!

Dear All,

Long time no chat again lah!

Natasha's previous ear infection was resolved on last Monday. Very happy indeed!

But... but...

She started a new fever on Wednesday afternoon!!

Went to see the doc on Thursday, but the pattern of the fever is very bad. Suddenly raise up to 39+, had been using anal medicine almost all the time. Therefore decided to see the doc again on Friday, the ear infection is very bad that he had to use de-imflammation medi again. After we went home the fever race up to almost 40 again, we were pretty scared and finally decided to call up our doc to arrange the hospital admission that night.

She was not drinking and eating well at all, but finally the fever stopped and some rashes appeared on her face on Sunday. It's really a relief to know that it's Roseola, she was released from the hospital last night and she is playing well today. Some of the rashes' colour is fading out today but she is still feeling very tired and not sleeping well in the night. Hope she'll feel better and can see you all soon lah!

Remember to count us in for the DB trip, still haven't got the choice to go swimming with Tasha yet, don't know if she'll like it or not!?

Natasha doesn't seems to like RS's video, don't know why? Though she'd only watched "the Mother Goose Nusery Rhymes" and " the silly story DVD".

Please be careful with all the babies since there are some very strong virus out there, the pediatric ward was full when we arrived and apparently there are also many re-admitted patients like Tasha this month. There are also two Airborne Precaution rooms during Tasha's stay.

Can your maid share with ur workload now? My maid told me that she needs to return home after finished the contract (Sep) 'coz she miss her daughter very much, I've employed a new maid lah, good luck to me lah

Tasha's rashes has faded quite a lot and she finally managed to finish off 8 oz of milk this morning, I guess this is a good sign. Tough she still feel very tired and sleep more in the daytime.
Frankly, I am so exhausted since never stopped worrying about her this month. You know, I can now feel how worried you were during HH's last illness. Thank god it's all over now.

My maid is okay, she is much cleaner than the last one. Although she just ruin one of my curtain (the blacken one) in the wash, but she is very honest and say sorry in the first place. I decided to forgive her since she still have to pay the agency fee for the first seven months. Basically she can do all the housework on her own and finish off one day work almost everyday.

When will your new maid arrive then? I will pray for you for the wisdom to train this new maid and for HH to like her.

Ralph behaves the same as yatyat, he doesn't want to sit well during the story time in school. He likes to play what he wants. It seems so bad compare with other kids who can sit well and so quiet. But the teacher told me that's fine for Ralph. At least He 's not afraid stranger, he likes to explore.... Just let him to do what he wants. Coz the teacher asked me what kind of kid i want Ralph to be. You want him to be a good boy listening to u or u want him to be more creative. She told me a lot of chinese kids copmare with the foreginer kids in K1 or K2 classes , they can do very well, sit very well , write very well. But all they are so quiet, without his own character.
So now I just let Ralph to do what he wants but avoid the danger things.

Maybe anson and u can come to db in summer time.
Does Anson have summer holiday?

But Anson's got '風難' (濕疹 as what the doctor said) today. It was all over his body, even his face.....he got swollen eyes :-( :-( :-( ! I was so afraid and helpless as this is the first time he's got that and very serious, he just cried and said painful :-( . I was so hurt seeing him like that and couldn't do anything. Luckily, after seeing the doc and applying the cream, he's much more better now. Hope he's fine tomorrow la

Haha..... same la! Anson was also the only one in the class who was running around during the story time before. But now, he can somehow sit still during the story time in Gymboree as the teacher knows how to attract his attention when he's just want to runaway

Hi all,

Haven't been online for a long long time. Miss u all.

As one of my best friend visit HK these days, so i'm busy in acting as a tourist guide.

I've not see her for almost 7 years. I really miss her. Maybe when Hoi Lam grow up a little bit, i could bring her to USA to visit her.

Hoi Lam 1st year birthday is coming. I'm so excited and a little bit 感觸! Times flies and i've been tortured for almost 1 year. But hoi lam really give me many many happy moment. I've been busy in organising the keepsake box these days, including photo album, journal w just a few words. Reading though the journal and reviewing her mini milestone give me so much happiness and satisfaction.

I'm learning to make a birthday cake (just a traditional one) for Hoi Lam, Since i'm not good at cooking, already failed twice.

I'll keep trying.

my best friend is also in USA, we agree that once our babies attend school, we'll start our "exchange student program" during summer holiday. 1 yr at HK, 1 yr in USA. Haha, see if it works to us.

Now we only use web cam to see each other's babies via net, but still, it's warm to see each other, thanks to the internet world

matthew仔28may果日都打o左1歲果支針, 到第10日, 個身有少少"興", 但又未至於發燒, 之後到第二日就冇再"興", 但有少少好似熱痱o既紅疹(其實我都分唔到究竟係熱痱定紅疹)....不過兩個徵狀都好輕微......
