Ar................we are Chinese, so speak Chinese at home lor...............as they will learn English at School, and might be later, they will learn the other languages at School.............

u have to speak one language to him and ur hubby speak one language to him, otherwise he will mixed up all the language.

i speak chinese to mitch all the times, and offically his dad speaks english to him. so he can pick up both language. and i asked him to point where ear, eyes, hands, feet, nose is in chinese, he can point it out. and when his dad asked him in english, he can point it out as well.

so dont talk to him in 2 language if necessary! otherwise he wont understand u!!

I remember that I have a friend, they used call their son his chinese name and when he went to nursery he didn't respond when they called his english name and the nursery said to my friend they think there was something wrong with his hearing cos he didn't respond

but it was because he didn't know they were calling him as he wasn't used to his english name.....

I think I saw the ones when you were in HK....
