How about ABC restaurant for dim sum?

good question! u're right ... that restaurant is kinda small. if only u bring the stroller, it might be ok but there're also other babies as well.
we seldom go out to eat with our boy ...

the one at Ulfer Ctr in milpitas, right?

usually there's long line waiting for tables during the weekends. is that right? do u think we can talk as i think it's kinda noisy over there?

anybody knows if they take reservations during the weekends?

When we go out with my son, usually he would stay sleep/sit in the stroller but nowadays, he's more mobile and may not want to sit still in the stroller for the whole time. So it depends on the time (like he's hungry or sleepy etc) and his mood (i.e. my luck). My son can walk now and he sometimes hold my hand when he walk outdoor but sometimes, he would "fing" my hand off and wants to walk by himself. But sometimes he would feel tired of walking and sit/climb on the floor -- dirty floor! :(

I haven't been to ABC restaurant for at least 2 yr so I am not sure if they do reservations. 2 months ago, I went to the Joy Luck Place dim sum place in Cupertino Square and I can call them and get a "number" like an hour ahead and so we didn't to wait for too long. I don't know if ABC or other restaurant has those kind of reservation.

I can't think of a restaurant yet... humm.. how about those cheap(er) buffet place? Those type of place, people may be able to stay longer. Usually how much does those dim sum lunch cost? Will it be more than buffet?

I think we can stay as long as we want there, and is less than $10 per person, the food is also suitable for kid.

But anyway, I will call ABC and ask do they take reservation tomorrow.

The Fresh Choice in Great Mall sounds good to me. :) (I can go shopping afterwards too...

Fresh Choice at Great Mall is fine with me.
i used to like going to fresh choice but haven't been there for quite a while as my son don't like the kinda food over there. he likes to have meat. but most likely he'll be having lunch with my hubby and mother-in-law that Sunday.

actually i was gonna suggest the chinese dim-sum place at Great Mall if u gals like having dim-sum. but i just afraid that it might be hard to find parking spaces during lunch time on Sundays over there. but i guess it's hard to park anywhere during weekends especially at the popular places.

Actually dim sum or Fresh Choice etc are fine for me. If anyone has any other suggestion, I am open to it. I haven't been to any Fresh Choice for at least a year or two actually. Is it very hard to find parking in Great Mall? Oh well, at least they have big parking area around the mall so we should probably able to find one (after some search).

I am open to everything, just think we can stay longer at Fresh Choice.

Oh your husband will be in town then? :) We planned to go to Mayflower Restaurant (dim sum) in Great Mall now. You can bring your husband and bb too.
