Don't worry!
My baby's neck skin is 2.1mm thick. the totally result also is low risk.
over 2mm is high risk???

I did the Oscar Test today at Eastern Hospital. My baby's neck skin is 2.68mm. Seems that mine is the highest among yours.....I feel worry too. As when the baby is 9 weeks (now in 12 weeks), the C+ doctor told me that baby's neck skin is 2.8mm. I am now waiting for the Oscar Test result. Hope my baby can pass the test la. I feel worried too. Do you know when the result will be released?

I took the $450 test so I got the result around 1 week after the neck skin measurement and blood test. I also don't know how thick the neck is means high risk. Well, at first, I feel 放心 when I got the report said "no risk". But then after seeing most mothers here saying their babies' necks are all below 2mm, I started to worry as it is 85% accurate only...

I took $450 test too. So, i need to wait for 1 week to get the result. Really very worry. I have asked the doctor how come my baby neck skin is 0.268 but others are only 0.1x. He just told me that it depends very much on no of weeks of pregnancy and baby size. I can do nothing now but just wait for the result. Good luck to me and my baby la

我琴日都去咗照oscar, bb 頸皮厚係1.5mm, 身長就6cm,但血報告要明天先知!

我琴日都有問過醫生,醫生話頸皮厚度超過2.5mm先有機會有問題,但都唔一定有問題,都要加埋份血報告,所以大家都唔好太擔心,如果真係好擔心,就抽胎水,因為抽胎水係100%知道係咪唐氏!

其實我同我老公都唔係高人, 我記得小b佢9w1d 只係2.52cm, 4個星期內, 佢已經長咗4.76cm, 我都唔知佢長唔快呀, 但覺得好得意, 你哋有無做記錄呀, 睇返個陣時, 有一番好特別的滋味. 好開心同好有成功感.

有一個 0810 的mama, 佢個小b 12w3d, 都有7.4 cm, 我唸佢個小b 都好長呀 !

Yes, I hope everthing is okay with you and your baby too. I think you and I have the same feeling and worry. Well, my baby was only 5.65cm on the day the doctor measure the neck skin. It seems small to the others also... but the neck skin was thicker...

As your Oscar result is low risk, don't worry. Although it is said it's only 85% accurate. I think it's okay. Otherwise, if you are at marginal case, the doctor will advise you to have further test. So, don't worry la.

Actually, i feel quite frustrated about the thickness of baby neck skin. You know, when i saw the C+ doctor, my baby neck skin is as follows

9 weeks : 0.28
11 weeks : 0.22
yesterday (nearly 12 week) : 0.268 (baby size : 6.xx)

So, as it is in mm. I think it is hard to have 100% correctness (especially it depends on baby size and posture. So, i think the blood test is much more accurate. So, as your case (blood test+ neck skin) is at low risk, you really don't need to worry la.

沉晚去照左Ultrasound, 張醫生真係好細心架, 之前係第二度照果次有9w, 點知照出黎得7w, 不知幾擔心, 佢好仔細咁同我度過, 依家真係有10w6d, 同度出黎係一模一樣, 依家安落哂囉!

I did the Oscar Test ($450 one) yesterday in Eastern Hospital, hopefully, I can get their good news letter next Monday la (because some mama said only 3 days processing time). Let me update when I got the result la

For C+ doctor, I did not do a blood test (because I booked Eastern Hospital at first.....So, will not have Oscar result

我上周在贊育做左oscar,約$1,200,醫生都好細心,初時bb訓左,要整醒佢,不過照左都係正常,抽血結果姑娘兩日後就通知我,三日後就收到report
我仲順便book埋做結構性,都係比多$600多(package price)

今日去左威院做oscar, 係low risk, 醫生無講男定女. 即日知report, 見到佢舉手又郁腳, 心跳仲好大聲. haha, 好開心呀

我上周都喺贊育做左oscar,由於我係高齡, 所以本來唔駛錢, 但因為我想快d知道result, 所以比在約$500,兩日就收到report! 我照緊既時候, 姑娘已經話頸皮有d過厚, 我問佢有幾多, 佢話成0.4mm, 我即刻個心沉一沉, 佢話驗埋血再睇吓......點知.....

佢睇二日打電話比我老公, 話我係high risk, 個ratio 仲要係1:8! 我好相信無人喺BK係有咁高, 我同老公都好擔心, 於是星期五即刻返贊育攞report, 佢話我可以抽絨毛或抽羊水, 但抽絨毛比抽羊水更危險, 所以佢suggest我抽羊水, 但要到15-16weeks至做到, 我實在等唔到, 於是即刻攞左個report去見c+, 問佢意見! 其實c+都係講個risk比我知, 最終係我自己決定, 我實在太驚, 於是即刻決定抽絨毛!

我個c+係唔做抽絨毛, 於是佢refer我去左中環尹鎮偉醫生同我喺星期六做! 其實都真係好痛, 但為左知道個真相, 我乜都唔理, 最後今日醫生打電話比我, 通知我個result, 一切正常, 仲知道係男仔, 我即刻個人開心晒!

所以我覺得oscar實在好唔可靠, 甚至令人好frustrate, 如果將來我有朋友有左, 我會叫佢唔好做oscar!

其實oscar 都係最高90%發現率, 個姑娘都同我解釋得好清楚, 只係篩查, 並唔係確診. 如果機會大, 抽絨毛去確診係有需要... 不過無論點都好, 最緊要係你bb 正常, 辛苦d 都無所謂啦... d 醫生都係計數據, 佢個年紀都影響結果幾大, 好似我, 30歲就六百分之1, 到我生時31歲就變五百分之1. 但驗完後就係萬一分之1. 都係求個安心. 最緊要係最後個result 係正常.... 雖然你擔心左幾日, 但而家放心晒就very good 啦.
