What I found is the global blue in VAT tax refund eats up a lot on their handling fees and I found I can only get around 10-12% of tax refund instead of 20 as it\'s supposed to be! I am taking cash！ Anyone find this issue?

Cash refund is similar case. The vendor also charges handling fee, can never get 20% VATS refund unless you order directly from sites like selfridges.com

Actually every European countries are like that... But handling fee for credit card refund is less than cash refund (but u need to bear the risk of exchange rate by credit card company)
Among the European countries, UK is one of those who charges highest handling fee
