Yes, understand. However, 冇USM, the photo taking speed may be affected. It's nice if we can take every interesting action/face/smile from our baby son/daughter!

BTW, I am sorry that I do not have 'kit lens' and hopefully some others can provide 原庄相 for you to take a look.

Yes la, 24-70mm 70-200mm has different perspective! That's why I used 70-200 a lot before too!

勁貴，L鏡.....
同期Canon，Nikkor一樣80-200mm f2.8，一枝L一枝ED，Canon差不多貴成倍.....

撇開L唔計，或者當時科技要做一枝大光圈ultra wide o既zoom唔容易卦......

新舊款，wide一邊由最舊一枝20mm變左17mm，再由17mm變左16mm....第一枝冇usm，filter72mm，第二枝開始77mm...

至於邊枝最好我就唔知....等我有齊試左話你知...

以前聽過有拍友講過影像質素第一代比較好，但而家計就應該17-40mm f4L最低玩，變形控制據知都比17-35 f2.8及16-35 f2.8好，祇係光圈細一級，話晒短焦一級光圈冇長焦影響咁大，平成半啵.........

Yes, i just help my friend selling his Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 coz' he bought the 17-40mm f4L. The 17-40mm f4L and 70-200 f/4L have became the stepping stone for the L lens.

Dom,

I'm not really sure coz' my friend just give me his18-50 f/2.8 and maybe i will test few shots before selling for him.

However, according to his comment (but he is also green to photography), the image produced by the 18-50 f/2.8 is not very 實.

Despite that, i think the 18-50mm f/2.8 is still really good in terms of its price-performance.

If your 70-200 is f2.8L, then you can play one more thing... FYI... you may try a 1.4x multipler on a 70-200mm f2.8L. At 200mm the addition of a multipler makes the focal length 280mm...

If you're using 300D, at 200mm, it'll become 200mm x 1.6 x 1.4 = i.e. 448mm (similar to 300mm or 400mm f4L lens)

It's quite expensive if it's a 300mm or 400mm f4/L lens...

I only got the 70-200 f/4 jar..... not 2.8 ar!
Besides, i even though how much chance i could use it at the moment. Maybe i will just play along with my 28-70 f/2.8 at the moment.

Yes, I know... just thinking if your lens is f2.8, then you can play more stuff... and 'maybe' can save cost if you need use 300mm or 400mm lens. in the future. (long term).
