All moms,

May I know how many diapers for your baby now? My girl suddenly drops the number of wet diapers to 3 to 4 a day. She used to have ngng 3 times and now suddenly no ngng... so worry...

Baby Joshua needs 5 - 6 diapers everyday and stools for every 1 or 2 or 3 days...

don't worry abt 'suddenly no ngng' and maybe today she has 'alot'.... hehe...

My son uses 4-6 diaper a day and he usually has 1-3 ngng everyday. Does your baby suddenly eat much less? If not, perhaps you can wait and see 2 more days and take her to the doctor.

My son has his first cold since yesterday. Because of his stuffy nose, he woke up few times during the night :-(

These weather makes people sick easily. Take care!

Thanks all of you!

Caron has very wet diaper this morning after we gave a lot of fluid last night. Still no ng ng yet. I wonder if it is because she starts eating congees everyday.

Caron has a cold and she wakes up 3-4 times a night and I get sick too. :-(

caron 開始食congees, 起初唔ngng都唔怪, 因為腸胃一下只未適應, 留意多兩三日先啦, 只要佢有得ngng時順暢, 就唔駛

your bb elder than my Joshua for 1 day... and I haven't started to feed Joshua with dilute congee (not cereal)...

but just started to feed banana mash for 4 days.... so far the result is satisfactory...

Does you bb sit well?

Every baby is different. tip is try little portion and start with more dilut cereal. Hope this help.

Thanks for your advice.

Caron had her vaccination too and usually doctor advised us to give her Tylenol an hour before to avoid fever. Donno if HK doctor will have the same practice.

Hi All ma ma,

I just feel so happy today I can share with you because everyday I can read your discussion but can't reply. (don't know the reason). I have written my difficulties to web manager, I think he do something for I can share at this moment.

For baby's stool, my baby has poo poo from 3 to 4 days after feeding cereal so some ma ma no need to worry about that. The nurse in MCC said It was normal if her poo poo is not hard.

Luckily, my baby has no fever after three injection in MCC.

My milk supply also decrease after "period" come at May.

my baby could sit to play a while.... and he enjoy lay on my tummy and then turn around. But he could not turn when laying on the bed...so funny. Waiting for this wonderful moment.

Try to use very diluted orange juice or apple juice to lure baby drink water. This may work

At the very beginning, I follow every instruction in the package for mixing the cereal, but later I found it's baby's taste I have to follow, otherwise she won't eat. My advice is to 'ask' your baby if he/she like thicker or thineer cereal. I thinned the cereal of my girl using my own milk.

ic... my period hasn't come yet ... but I am worrying

abt my increase in weight coz my body check report stated that my cholestol level is high arrrr

... I need to reduce weight laaa... (still 5-10 pounds) to go back to my 'normal' weight.

Dislike water? I heard from other moms in BK that they use very diluted juice to feed them... I aven't this problem coz baby Joshua likes water also.

Banana mash? easy to do... I just use the weaning spoon to grind the banana...and feed

congee? my mom will make very diluted one... boil congee with meat or veg... and use the diluted congee to feed loh.

Orange juice? no laaa... coz I feed once (for fun only) but he 'loo loo' for few times afterwards... other mums in bk told me that I should start to feed orange juice when he reaches 1 year old.

what's the weight of your bb now? Joshua now weighs (I guess coz his next injection will be on 21/2) 19 pounds la...

My period came back in 2nd month, then stopped again for 3 months.. now it started again. Milk supply decreases when period because of the hormone. I also got eczema myself. so poor ah...

I gained about 30 pounds and now still have 8 pounds to go compared with my weight b4 pregnant.

Oats is good to reduce cholesterol level...... maybe you can try taking oats as breakfast and snack la...... can keep fit as well

All,

I started to give rice cereal to hayhay from last Saturday, seems he didn't like it....... I followed the instruction on the packing and the texture is just like milk shake...... but hayhay just took 2-3 mouth (the baby spoon) and then cried and refused...... my bunbun will try to give him cereal first when he's hungry today, see if this work......

Can I give hayhay apple/banana mesh now? I'm not sure if his "swallowing skill" can manage for the mesh now???

I read from books that organe juice contain critic acid, which may cause allergy...... so recommend to give organe juice after 1 yr old. My colleague teach me to cook "apple water" ---> boil some apple with water, then the apple can be used to make mesh and water also contain some apple taste lor...... sounds good, but I haven't try...... now I give hayhay diluted apple juice every day and he likes it

BTW, how long should I give the same food to BB (for testing food allegy)??? 3 days or 5 days???
