Hi Weliza,

so is your teacher Ms. Sue... she is quite nice, getting better than when she first joined. My bb joined for 10 lessons b4, now we will try another one - tutor time starting in april.

Yes, the teacher is Susan. I will bring bb once a week due to I have to work full-time. But I see many bbs go to playgroup 3-5 times a week. Is it good to the bb?

After completion of the 10 lessons, does it better to change to other playgroup instead of continuing the same one?How much for the tutor time? Is the similar program with KinderU? What does the meaning of b4? (Sorry for the lots of questions!) :wink:

I don't think it is good to let baby attend 3-5 lessons each week. They will be exhausted.

I think once a week is good enough. Of course including some stimulating games you will play at home.

Hi Weliza,

b4 = before (lazy to write the full word, haha..)
i think once a week is ok, 3-5 lessons seems too many la...
For tutor time, i will start early april, but they are 1.5hrs per lesson. 45mins English and 45mins Mandarin. will let u know once i have our first lesson.
If you find kinderU is ok and the place is near to where u live, i think is ok. Just that we want to explore to other playgroup so we try something else lor.... :lol:

i first brought my bb to playgroup at 4months. for kinderU, u can take as early as 3 months. but i suggest to attend this kind of classes from 4 months. quite fun... also both dad & mom can spend time with bb...

Dear all mamies,

I took Adrian to join My Gym trial class today....the setting is like a big playground with playmates, stairs, swings, bridges, ball ball pool, bouncing beds....all the corners and walls are wrapped with foam...so it is very safe for babies to crawl/walk around.

The tutor started off by singing a hello song and then she introduced each babies to the class... then the tutor set up some activities for babies e.g a giant swing that can accomodate four to five babies, a electirc train and let babies to ride on them, some bars activities so the tutors can help exercies their arms....at the end of the session, the tutor told a story and then ended up by singing a goodbye song.

Well ! Since my little Adrian can bearly crawl and still cannot walk....he didn't enjoy much....but he did having funing riding on the electric train and the giant swings...It is a fun place for babies but I won't commit until Adrian is a bit older...so that he can enjoy more games.

What a coincident...Nice to meet you at Kindermusik today.
It was very good and Adrian was having a great time...he wanted to crawl around...ha ha.

Anyhow, I did enroll for six classes but I picked the sat session since I need to go to work.

So you found the Kindermusik class OK? Something that I don't understand...why you enrolled for 6 classes and not 8 classes. The one we attended today is a 8-lessons programme... I thought all Kindermusik Village programmes are the same.

Is it because of the class duration will be longer on Sat?

No lah...he joins the Sat session.
The reason why you see him last Thurs is that it was his make up class.

But I am thinking of switching him back to Thurs class since it is too crowded on Sat. Although there are 10 babies but each babies will bring at least two, some have three guardians....Adrian almost got hit by some adults last Sat cos he kept crawling around.

The bad thing is I need to work. And I cannot play with him in the playground lor. :-(

I saw your communication with Cynthia.

As a mom, I don't agreed if you switch Adrian's class to Thursday with the maid unless you're taking every Thursday off la.

I haven't enroll for Ian as we're so busy for the coming weekends. I will join you to the one you've mentioned before. Call me when you're going.
