I think the class was good and fruitful. Understand more techniques on flash card and body connection.
I am also consider to enrol for 10 lessons (at $2,200) in the Sat afternoon session.

我覺得個課程內容都幾豐富，樣樣都有d，都好認同佢話bb o既physical發展要成熟，至會有助其他知識o既吸收。不過我都係第一次試playgroup，會比較埋其後先作決定~~
$2200/10 lesson/1hr15mins，除開都差唔多，真係視乎邊d形式適合自己小b。

i believe the classes with KinderU only last for 60 mins not 90mins...pls check with KinderU!

and so far as i know, there will be a new class on sat for babies of about 6 months..Betty (mrs ho) will contact me once it can be set up...if u are interested in the classes at KinderU, please call to reserve a place first.

once enrolled, i think u need to buy a set of flash cards of about $2000. i don't know whether it is a compulsory not but they highly recommend u to buy!

i may be able to help if u are interested in KinderU as i can direct contact Mrs. Ho.

Yes, it takes 60 mins and Betty has discussed the details of flashcard and child development to us after the lesson. So, both xs0156 and myself leave at around 4:15pm.

I think that Gymboree is more focus on physical body development, but KinderU is focus on both brain development and physical development. The teacher may from Gymboree as she has wrongly thank us to be in Gymboree... hea hea...

KinderU is also the sole agency of Dr Glenn Doman from US, so if you want to join flashcard, this is one of the recommended choices. But of course, I will decide which one to join after my trial class in Gymboree on 31 July.

KinderU and Gymboree are 2 diff things for the baby.

Gymboree may be more fun to the baby since it is surrounded with songs and games. the babies love the bubbles and parachutes time very much. also, it is more spacious and the staffs are all very well and kind. they believe they love children very much and they can recognise and know the names of every babies.

as for KinderU, it is more academic, emphasizing on the flash cards and the right-brain development. you and ur maid have to work very hard during the other day to practise with your babies the flash cards. otherwise, it will not work if u are just relying on the lesson once every week. (of course, u can join more classes per week but it all depends on your budget and schedule) contrary to Gymboree which ur baby will show you a big grin during the lesson, the effect of attending a playgroup at KinderU may not be so direct and immediate but in the long run, i believe it works.

u need to consider what you and ur baby want from the classes before you make the decision. :lol:

Each lesson include 6 families (1 BB and 2 adults)

Venue : Rm 601-602 Eton Tower, Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, HK (opposite to LeeGardens利園)

Preparation :
Please bring a big towel and all adults need to wear socks(記住帶條大毛巾給bb及大人要穿著襪)

There are 5 trial lessons available for us, please make registration and provide name for making label and PM your telephone and email address to me. I will send my contact to you as well.
