When I lived in San Bernardino, my family and I always go to Ontario Mills mall shopping, and also I have friend live your place. We also lived in SB two years ago ( from 2002 - 2004 ) Now, we are living in LA, but I like the living area in SB more than LA. Here house is expensive, more townhouse and condo in my area without big backyard. My due date is almost same as you - Mar 2006 I loss weight in the beginning, but now I gained 7 lbs last check up. How about you?

Yes, Little Fat Man and Mini-Matt took off for more than a week now. They are expected back before Thanksgiving. You can ask her for advice when she returns cuz she was also brave and did not go with her hubby. We are leaving for the cruise on Thanksgiving weekend and will go to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta (7 days). We are really excited. It's our first big trip with Natalie.

It was raining a bit in the morning in my area too. But I still brought my grandparents and natalie out to drink tea. Did you shop at gymboree? I went online at 12:01am last night to get the 30% discount. I saw couple items and I didn't want them to run out of natalie's size today

我以前都住响LA架,但D屋太貴啦,所以搬入SB,係遠咗D,但係大D又靜Ｄ,慣咗都OK呀,最唔方便係買餸囉
除咗Ontario Mills,依家起咗個outdoor mall叫Victoria Garden,行街唔洗去咁遠啦
我起初都輕咗,但依家食得就重返,你知道係仔/女未呀?我bb係女嚟架,我同我老公都好緊張

Good news, I guess everyone knows it by now... Clara gave birth to Katie at Nov10, 2005!!!!!

Congrad!... Lovely Princess9th from Eastern Coast (US) is 7lbs 6oz with 20 inch tall!

we just had our gathering at the passed weekend.. will post the pic here soon! Amanda really growth a lot, she is a bit more patience, and mature.. I thought, she just gets into her T2, However, seems, she has gone thru more than half of it now.. she is not naughty at all la.. the day care -care givers really do their good job.. now, Amanda is day time total potty trained, talks a lot, and becomes girly! I am glad that many of her bad habit/manner disappeared, since she attended day care.. and she learns good manner in day care as well.
When do you plan to send Natalie to day care and you go back to workforce?

Have your child taken the school pic yet? Amanda took hers one at Nov 1, 2005, we chose those we wanted already.. I am waiting for the delivery.. the person who took the pic, was so PRO!!!! Amanda smiles so sweet!

I will wait patiently for your gathering photos and Amanda's school pictures. So nice to hear how great Amanda has progress in school. To be honest with you, I'm not sure when I'll return to the workforce. The longer I stay home with Natalie, the more I'm enjoying being with her. :-P :-P :-P Even if I stay home, I'll probably start her in preschool around 2 to 3 years old. I want her to learn how to share and play with other children. It's so hard to disipline her at home cuz she's the only child. If she behaves well in preschool, then I will consider working again

Nillie was right! Sean seems to be a little more behaved and more patient since he's been in preschool, although he's still naughty most of the time (but at least he can sit at his table for more than an hour if you keep him busy with something). Also, he seems to be less agressive in fighting with other kids unless he's really mad or not in good mood.
I'm thinking to send him to school for full day when he has quit sucking his thumb for falling into sleep. (coz i think it's kinda dirty).
I just saw a job opening at Cisco by chance and seems to be a good fit for me. However, I still a bit hesitate to apply, coz it mentions that you must be available for travelling if required (although i know the chance might be slight). Also, I'm not sure if I'm really ready for him to go to school for full day, coz initially I planned so til he's 3.

99 is staying with us again (since my hubby is on business trip). she went out with me to pick up Sean today. she's so impressed when she saw him pushing his chair back into the table when he's leaving. before, she always said he's bad manner.

Yes, Sean had taken the school picture by end of Sept. (almost a month after he started school) and we've received the pictures. However, Sean cried so much that morning before he went to school and his eyes were swollen and puffy. So, probably he'll retake the picture again this Fri.

So, is Amanda going to another new school now? is she going to day-care or preschool now?

it is true, Amanda behaves much better.. ^o^. I can't really believe it, at the first day care she went (which the one her cousin still there), only 4 days, she learnt the word "stupid", "Oh! man", "out"--> for her.. means [get lost]....etc, I was so upset.. I can't believe that they said that they are using the project approach teaching method, finally, my girl got vomitting on her 2nd day, diarrhoea on her 3rd day, 105.3F fever on her 4th day!
I was so hesitate to trust the day care or any school here for a long while...
Then, one day I bring her to a local Russian day care to have a look.. as I am really tired, to deal with her, and have my night shift.. she just likes it..
so we let her to try half day for a week.. then started full day.. she adapts pretty good.. she then learns to say all the positive words like.. Good girl, Good boy, Good Job, Nice, cool... and never said bad words like "stupid..etc" any more..
she will sit on her chair when her class teacher asks her to.. even she still turns her head around and 飲泣 at the beginning.. but she really obeys to her teacher. Once she steps into the classroom, she just listens to her teacher.
This day care do home make food only, not buy from outside, they have big kitchen with 2 cooks (Russian big ma ma), they bake break, cup cakes, home made soup everyday. She eats the food in day care, as we provide 2 bottles for Amanda, but some time, she just only take 1 bottle( before day nap at school from 1230pm to 3pm), when we pick her up at 5pm (right after school dinner), she has a big belly to show me.. and tell me, :mami, bread, good! mami, Amanda eats bread..
I love this day care, that they provide all meals, and teach child with table manner...
But one thing.. Amanda really lost her Cantonese.... I wish when she growth a bit more, we can teach her to speak Cantonese again.

now, we really have a relief... see that if what you should show your 99.. Sean growth up and likes a gentleman now!
for the job hunting you mention, just try ! Why not?

I did not buy all Amanda's school pic, as the price is so expensive.. also, we took 2 studio pictures for Amanda this year la.. so we just only chose some post from the collection only.. show you later when we get them.

Do you mind sharing the name of the first daycare Amanda went to? It's very scary to hear all those bad words she learned and how much it affected her physically in just 4 days. My problem is I need to start potty-training natalie but I don't want to start too early. I'm planning on potty training her when she turns 18 mos and hopefully by the time she is 2, I can let her go to day-care 3 days a week for half a day. There are a few daycares in my area: La Petite, Tutortime, Kindercare, and a few privately owned ones. Both Tutortime and Kindercare will do potty training, but I prefer La Petite cuz it's right across the street from my grandparent's house. They can pick her up if I am busy. So we'll see. Any advice on how to start potty training

For the job at Cisco, I think it's worth submitting your resume. At least you can see where you stand in the market and how your qualification matches the job criteria. You can always consider the other issues after going in for interview and getting more details. I'm also a little hesitate about sending natalie to daycare for full-day. I'm not sure how she will cope with their nap/food arrangements. That's why I want to start her a little early...probably at age 2 and just do half day for a few months. I think it will take at least 6 months to a year for us (natalie and I) to get used to daycare arrangements before I can fully devote myself to working again. So much to think about... ?-( ?-(

It seems send our kids to day care is good for before pre-school. My hubby and I also think to research some day care and pre-school information close my area. It is because I ready for my second bb coming and my girl has a place for her to learn study manner before go to pre-school. I think it is very important both of us. My sis-in-law's told me, we should be follow our kid at least 1-2 weeks in school. Let them to suitable school life and then ok to continue. I see my girl begin interest to chat with kids and play with kids in the park. Although sometimes kids don't have reply her. When she saw other kids play, she will laugh and very happy by herself. I think my girl is ready for school.

You also want send Nataile to day care. I think it is good for her too! Many benefit from day care - potty training and good manner. I also see this point for my girl. Still research!

Compare with LA and SB, I prefer live in SB. Yes, overthere house is good and the lot is large with reasonable price. Last week, we went back to visit our old neighbor. They sold their house and bought a new house. They love move to mountain, the view is good. After left our old neighbor house, we visited our old house again. When I saw my old house, my feeling was very happy! I really love my old house, heee... About market, I used to buy food in western market, so that's ok for me live in SB before.

Parents-to-be, exciting, right! We have an experience when we have first child.

Thanks! Are you a working mom? It is not easy go back to work after the "sit moon". Did you always miss corey when you work in the beginning? I am a stay home mom. The first time I left my bb a few hours when I went back to school ( only evening class and forgot 2 or 3 nights ) I already miss my bb very much! When I came home every night, my hubby and my bb stood in the door and welcome me. I felt very joyful!
