I provide coffee for my maid because some people will have headache if not having coffee in the morning like my husband n my mom-in-law but of course 3in1 not expensive one. For personal thing,she bought it for herself but I will give her all the sample cosmetics because I don't like to use so that she can save some money for those things.
After I read all these replies, oh, I feel I am too kind and generous to my maid. My maid also worked for my friend which was her ex-employer for 8 years in HK. My maid said to me that my friend's husband also asked her to drink coffee when she worked there. I did not say anything. Later on, without asking me, she bought it at Parknshop (Nestle Gold) but the smallest size costs not much (around HK$15). After that, I went to Parknshop to buy it, I chose UCC First Class (HK$30 when it's on sale).
Then, she bought coffemate (HK$18.9) for every 2 weeks, and of course she use my coffee sugar, and will buy it when it is finished.
She worked for me for 10 months, what I get now is she become fatter and fatter, lazy and lazy. It is really I feel she is not satisfied with what I gave her. In my home, I only have one baby and myself most of the time, and I don't work as to look after my sick baby, my husband is working in Beijing and come back once a month. Her workload is really not much, and I look after my baby as she was so sick in her early age.
So my conclusion is not to provide, they have no heart.
