if our maids are good, an increase of $80 per month is nothing. now i'm paying my maids $3670 - the 'quite' old salary. i don't know what they are thinking but sometimes i would tell them they are really lucky. more than one maid in a household and not receiving the minimum salary. i always tell them if they really work hard, i don't mind paying them $4000 or a bit more. what i hate is:
1. long face
2. never say 'sorry' if they have done something wrong or broke something
