Mine too. The school just aims the kids to recognise the words eg foot, arm, head, shoulder, knees, girl, boy...... but not 串字. [/quote]
我仔仔間學校also仲未開始串字呀! Kids only recognise the words only. But my son likes alphabets very much because we always use songs to teach him 串字. For example, when we teach him how to spell his name, we will sing the song:
There was a naught boy in this house and Cyrus was his name. O! C-Y-R-U-S! C-Y-R-U-S! C-Y-R-U-S! And Cyrus was his name. O!
Your son can draw in detail. I think he has talent in drawing!
My boy's painting is like a mess. He joint the art class starting from this summer. He loves to draw numbers. Amost all his art work has numbers on it. The teacher call him "Number Kid"!
落難公主? Your girl should be very happy in the Halloween Party!
Sonia is really 叻女 & can communicate in fluent English. My girl is shy to speak, only in words & seldom in sentence. I really need to work hard la.
Have you taken any photo of the 紅魔鬼? Sure all of us want to have a look on that
My girl also learned 憫農詩 in late K1 in both Mandarin & Cantonese. The first time when she recited it, I couldn't catch her words but finally of course I knew all of them la. Perhaps most kindergartens like to teach this poem to let the kids know how difficult to have the rice & ask them to treasure & don't waste them. :-P That's good.
我個女平均晚上訓9小時 (10:30pm - 7:30am), 中午訓1.5 - 2.0 小時 in school.
All mami,
When will you kid go to sleep in the evening? I try to arrange my girl to sleep earlier. But it is really difficult as the schedule is too tight for dinner, doing homework, playtime, piano practice, bathing, drinking milk, reading bible & storybook..... How about yours?
