I've been testing out Maybelline's new White Stay Mousse Foundation and can't stop noting (read: admiring) its effects. For someone who has always used liquid foundation and powder, the unique creamy texture of mousse was a whole new experience. The powdery substance was smooth but not greasy, and blended evenly into my skin with ease, covering blemishes and leaving no lines. Just a few dabs were sufficient for a full coverage. I was bowled over by the radiant, natural matte finish, but more so by its long-lasting effects. The protective film was also light and airy, which allowed my skin to breathe free. In fact, it hardly felt like I was wearing any foundation. This is a far cry from the taut, mask-like effect some foundations have on the face. Other plus points: It did not clog my pores, I suffered no breakouts and the base made applying make-up easier.
