嘩！大家很熱烈討論啊！

唉呀∼我無意打擊學校，純粹8下、大家討論下。

ABCD媽：
可能有你和黃老爺的支持，B女才有好成績，而且大家一齊即時分享喜悅，值得架！

我們還有2年時間考慮，新學制後揀學校除了睇口碑、升中率、校風，還要睇學校如何配合新學制。雖然新學制表面上不關小學事，實際上小朋友於小學階段就要打好基礎，例如創意、自學能力、溝通能力等。

所以我跟張老爺講，如果聖X依然傳統、追唔上新世代，我未必揀它。 :-x

RCHU、樂媽、JJ：
BK X'mas party好似定左12月27日（星期一）下午1-4，但張老爺話想帶公主去旅行，所以我不參加囉。

程媽：
保王雖然與六村合併，但我好多時在隆亨下車行返屋企，都唔見保王做宣傳，banner都無條，很多住大圍的媽咪也不知保王的位置。

你舉過d都係家長心目中一等一嘅名校,( St. Paul Convent & Maryknoll)如果負擔得起, 就梗係取易避難啦.
我講嘅係普通官津屋邨學校. 你話喇, 冇翻咁上吓難度(指入讀), 你都唔敢讀la, 而想讀, 咪即要搏.

講真, 如我係保朱校長, 而又有條件咁做(有人叩門), 我心底一定咁諗, 但又唔明佢夠膽咁公開講. 唔怕人話佢戴有色眼鏡?
又講真, 雖然身為保朱一分子, 我從不敢奢望間學校可做到NT No. 1, 只望阿囡讀完六年出來高過平均水准就滿意la.

哈哈, 等我又將8翻來d料又講吓.
我曾經講過我鄰居個囡係經叩門入到保朱的. 据她說, 當年佢in完保朱收咗(好快, 一星期內收到通知) 再in蕭漢森, 個校長好直接咁講, 保朱收咗你, 我哋唔會考慮你喇. 當時佢覺好奇怪, 點解佢會知, 經打聽后先知原來兩間學校的校長係兩夫婦. 既然係咁, 又同是保局, 冇理由撬自已人牆角丫. I&Imon, 我估你講嘅case可能係屬于 lee 種情况.
同埋朱上同朱下亦是有同一內部協議, 就是朱上唔可以收朱下的學生.

乜保王今年唔係net 88 咩?

BTW, there are some parents who still want to risk to get into those top schools, disregarding the actual abilities of their kids. A band 3 p.6 boys got a place in band 1 secondary. his mom still wanted to change him back to La salle. But after a year, she gave up and sent the boy abroad. A eggegg's k3 classmate failed all private schools (coincidently ranked bottom in school) and now in an international school. She still thinks of changing her son back to DPS. My point is that there are some parents who want to get their kids into top top schools instead of seriously considering whether their kids have the actual and potential abilties. Yes, the parents' dream is fulfilled but I'm a bit worried about the kids' future development, academically and psychologically.
To add: the SPC case is that she has an elder brother who got La Salle last year through the church's help and so if she uses the church's influence should have no problem to get into Maryknoll. But she chooses not to do so partly she thinks her girl is not that smart.
As to myself: for strategic and other reasons, I also gave up a rather famous school for SPG (situated in the public housing) during the first round. So there are many heretics la.

經過幾次接触, 我對校長印象尚可. 最喜歡佢講野夠真, 夠直接. 開門見山, 好事丑事都唔怕講.

我估同校長,神父, 校董 friend, + donation.

我有另一个 lively example (我母校):
1 old girl every year donated $ 叫 Ms. XXX Scholarship, 做埋舊生會 chair, KG 義工, frequently 同 KG & primary headmistresses tea tea. 搏 first round (20 points 要抽) or knock-door 出貓 bingo.

But 有代价: recently, primary school headmistress suddenly 比人抄左, 傳聞收受利益.

another example: eggegg's KG.
live in net 41, first & second rounds choose Maryknoll. 大抽 PK 后, 1連4日早上, bring along her girl before going back to KG, 去 Maryknoll wait headmistress. Headmistress asked her to leave. This mom continued to send in portfolio etc. At last, 8月尾有位比佢. By that time, she had bought the school uniforms, books for GHS la = $5000

My point: 个女都有自尊, 未必比到呢个代价去完成媽媽's dream
