Just gone to Uny again... I guess I may just buy the simple drawing mat rather than the Thomas one lor. The most important point is there are 2 drawing pens in the normal one w/ some 'yan yan', eg, circle, etc. So the 2 kids don't need to fight for the pens. And this one is a bit smaller, 90 x 90cm. Thomas one is 90 x 120cm. But this one is also much much cheaper. HK$280 after discount.

So you redeemed the biz ticket for Tim as well or you bought the infant ticket for him? You bought it via CX? I have no such experiences, but I guess if you bought through them, you can request child meal ge. Just call up Asia Miles and ask ask lor.

I was told by the staff that we could not redeem the infant ticket..I called up the CX hotline and she said tha twe might even buy the infant ticket right in the airport because it doesn't occupy the seat...well, of course we have to pay the biz infant ticket price..around $1600 :evil:

child meal未必有, 我地去程問空姐有冇多一份, 佢地check過話冇, 最後cc都食左我地個餐一少部份同埋個包.

I think maybe she is good to you, 'cos it's not worth to redeem infant ticket ma. My experience: we tried to redeem the ticket for BB as well few years ago, but then the lady told me to buy a ticket for the child instead, not going to waste the mileage wor.

But then where did you book the hotel? Directly from the hotel? Or through agent? How about buying the infant ticket through the agent, so that you can make sure there is a child meal for Tim. If you just bought it from the airport counter, I am sure they can't guarantee a child meal by that time la.

You know they are really clever, they have some accessories to choose too ga. I was so excited, but then my colleague just asked me to calm down and also said that buy the simple one first la, if it is really good, then buy the accessories lor.

如果冇得redeem infant ticket, 我都唔會買infant ticket的. 大拿拿$1600喎! 我相信biz class一定有位剩, 可以俾tim tim坐的.
至於食物方面, 相信child meal應該有多掛? 唔會預到剛剛好的. 同埋我會帶埋奶/baby food在hand carry行李, 即使有child meal, 如果唔啱食(e.g.我唔多俾智程食牛肉), 都有私家野食.

今次我去北海道旅行, 在網上check到班機已爆滿. 我都預左到時如果冇位俾智程坐, 我就全程抱住佢.
