Wyeth's classes are organized from time to time, but I don't recommend as I just finished 1 class, I don't like it and there is nothing to learn. I've a question would like your comment: (hee hee, u know u're always our consultant maaa...)

I find Joshua's nursery has many many activities for them everyday...'swimming class', 'gym','outdoor', 'playing sand', 'science corner', 'English circle time', 'Chinese circle time', 'making bread', 'painting' ,... I wonder should I add in some more activities for him???

I've just think of music foundation course only... any more suggestion?

BTW, should I start to chase those kindies for delivering application forms??? is it the right time?

Wow, quite a lot of interesting activities at Joshua's school ..... Has Joshua completed the separation process? HH will start school tomorrow and I'm excited.... hope he's ok, coz we can only accompany him during the first few days......

I also want to add some extracurricular activities for HH after he settle down at school.... but I did not find much choices in Shatin (maybe I dont' know).... looking forward to nn's comments as well.....For music foundation course, I've signed up at Tom Lee and Parison, do you have anything in mind?

Joshua's kinder is so great to organize so many activities... I think it is more than enough... so, will you join all of them? I think most kinders have music lessons as well, maybe you could check check his kinder, if music is included, no need to add lar...

For application form, sept is the right time, at least we need to call call the kinders to understand when they will publish the form...

I know nothing about Shatin classes as I only search for those in MOS (lazy to travel ma). The only one that I joined in Shatin is Little Gym. AliBB has joined the coming semester, dunno whether HH will be AliBB's classmate or not? I remember you once said when you move to Shatin, you might consider LIttle Gym, right? So, have you made up your mind? If so, be quick as the new semester just started!!

For the painting class, it is in MOS, if you want more details, let me know.

For music, I have signed up Tom Lee, but I may not go as there are quite some bad comments from other BK mums... what do you think? How would you compare TL and Parison?

For other activities, AliBB is practicing ballet, I think you mums might NOT be interested... right

How about we open a new topic to summarize the Kinder application dates? What do you think?

Joshua's nursery lots fun, she should be tired after all these activities at school. Which branch of YC Joshua is studying? Are you planning to let him stay for his kindergarten?

BTW, I made some calls to asked for application date but most of them said call back by mid-sep

I may not join littlegym, coz I want a weekday morning class, but their schedule doesn't fit me

......

Does AliBB's dance school offer other type of dance (like jazz/hip hop) other than Ballet? I guess HH may be interested coz his eyes couldn't move away from the kids dance show on the TV when I took him to have a haircut last week .......

Since the queue at Tom Lee is long, I signed up the class at Parison KLT for HH as it'll start next Jan. The class lasts for 9 months and probably I'll decide whether to switch to TL till then. I've taken a look on Parison's books and it's quite interesting..... but seems it focus more on the theory (like notes, theory etc.). While the curriculum at TL focus on general musicianship and aural training per some other mums ..... To me, I think the latter is more important in a music foundation class.... but I really dislike the big class size of TL classes.......

Painting is good, can you send me the details for ref. Thanks.

Yes, good to have a topic to discuss about the KG application..... I'm 1516 in fixing my list, need some inspiration

Yes, Joshua's nursery is full of fun and joy... here's the schedule for him everyday...

8:45-9:00 Greetings (songs + play around -outdoor/indoor)
9:00-9:30 English circle time (Stories/songs)
9:30-10:00 Outdoor activities (Outdoor/Gym/swimming)
10:00-10:30 Snack time (must have drink+fruit+congee/noodles/wodong/pancake/cake/bread)
10:30-11:00 Artwork + activities (Science corner/ 搓flour/water colour/推sand/泥膠...)
11:00-11:30 Chinese Circle time (songs/stories)
11:30 - 11:45 - tidy up + bye bye song

There are three full time teachers in the class + 1 part time teacher + 1 sum sum... for 23 kids.

All the teachers there hold earlychildhood teaching cert/degree + with 10+ teaching experience either in YC or overseas. Joshua like the expatiate teacher most coz he speaks English in school... (both the chinese teachers told me this in day 2 and therefore assigned the expatiate teacher to take care him in case he cry cry or need help)...

and when I ask Joshua where is Miss Audrey? he will point to the door... and say 'school'... Oooooo

soooo... When Joshua back to home everyday... he will eat 1 bowl of noodles (much much much more than usual volume) + nap for 2 hours afterwards... hee hee...

BUT he got a big ear few days ago coz I foudn 3 mosquitoe bites on his left ear

For K1... I may not choose YC luuuu coz my planning is let Joshua to study in local school rather than international school. YCIS is good and the English standard is high but... not my cup of tea loh!

the nursery of YC is located at 29 Kent Road... the campus in Somerset Road/Waterloo Road are for K1-K3.

Remember to let me know when the application forms will be avaialble laaa...

the beginner course of TL music foundation is for 3+ years old... so we still have 1 yr to wait? right?

All the teachers said Joshua likes music very much... and they all recommend me to bring him to music course... pls let me know which one is good so that we can join together ar?!

AliBB's ballet school offers only ballet classes, but I know there is one school in MOS (which is the one with ad in BK, at the banner area) offering both ballet and jazz (2 dances in 1 program). You can check out more from its banner. Not sure whether there is boy class or not.

For LG, there is a weekdays morning class on Wed 11am, is it too rush for the pm PN class?

It is really a headache to plan extracurricular activities after AliBB joining the PN class, as her PN class is in the morning, I could only find those activities in the late afternoon for her, she is much more busier than me now, I am her secretary and financial controller plus driver, helping her to make all the appointments and pay all the fees
