My maid will leave my home 10 April but she will take her annuel leave 14 days and find job in hong kong, so my new maid will come at 11 April, I want to charge the 勞保's name(because still can use near 1 yr),or I need to wait until the end of visa day?

Do not confuse about your departing maid's 14 days annual leave, you had actually paid her for that 14 days. Thank you. Mrs Rose. I found it is so good for the helpers to work in Hong Kong as they are well paid and well protected by the HK law. I wish the HK government can do something to 'sponsor' our middle class who are in work and in need to employ domestic worker if it wants to encourage people giving birth.
ANS:{I do share your thoughts and feelings about this. However, it all depends on which angle and position ones would look at. Being an employee of a company would find that it is not enough, but to look at it as an employer of a domestic helper, one would think it is too much. The workers protection system is non-discriminating and applies to all employee including the domestic helpers.}
Hi momama,
The contract will end by Aug and we agree to renew the contract. If I let her take the holiday in June, is there a way that she does not have to leave HK again in the coming year ?
ANS:{Her new visa have to exit Hong Kong custom and back again in order to be valid. My suggestion is for her to postpone her holiday after the renewal (but within one year from renewal), else she will have to exit Hong Kong either to China or Macau and back.}
