My hubby is a British born Pakistani but studied in HK int'l school. He talks very funny Cantonese.
He persists speaking Urdu to Haris as he wants Haris can communicate with his grandma.
How about u ?

Haris not only looks "old" in photo, but his height (75cm)also far taller than babies with same age. He looks like a little child rather than a baby.

my hubby can speak well cantonese too^^
but he is 100 % pakistan man lu...
and my 6299 all in their country,never see them,hehe

hi, I hv 1 boy ( born in May 2005)and 1 girl(born in Apr07), french +HK mix, nice to meet you all again!
I hv a question here, any one of your kid is a late talker? my boy now is only speak vocab(most in eng), but not in full sentence, few vocab in chinese, I 'm worry about him so much, he 's now studying in nursery, but just a bit improve fm say few vocab in eng until now can speak more, and now, most of time, I speak cantonese to him, but I do teach him in eng for vocab only, sometimes for conversation if he didn't understand what I said in cantonese...
What I can do now? I 'm really worry and feel depressed and it also makes me not sure back to work or not.
Honestly, my eng is not good as all of you, so when I teach him some vocab, just simple one, so that's y I talk to him in cantonese, I don't want he learns the wrong eng fm me and my hubby, as we 're not native.. and we plan to send him study in international school.. ar.r.....
any mom can help or any mom can share your thought wz me? thks!!!
