Yes, the little sc kits came with the back issue ga.
But that was a monthly mag.
Not sure whether its the same as what you got.

Cfm it is from same publisher as the monthly sc mag I mentioned
Your set = $65.
The monthly mag with any sc kit for that month = also $65.
But if w/o sc kit, only the magazine itself, = $30.
Available monthly mag : Issues No 1 - 29 (maybe a few issues out of stock)
I bought 9 back issues at either $30 per issue or $100/3 issues at Book Fair last yr (2006), with sc kit.

I haven't ordered. However, I have read a few samples. I found it is quite expensive for that much of papers. Most important of all, my kids do not show much interest.

I subscribe to Daily 7 for piglet cos he likes it. Suits his style of reading.
26% of cost is spent on postage.
(You receive the Fri + Sat papers together on Fri.)

Piglet watches TV news so doesn't rely on that for daily news actually. Just reads it for a little bit of vocab and interesting issuse (to him) each day.

Some kids prefer to read the "real" newspaper and may not like Daily 7 / TV news.
Daily 10 is supposed to be more difficult.

Hi, Lamsuetwai,

I just found what the culprit is.

I searched the previous thread. It's the stevia leaf extract. However, according to the box, it contains 10mg for each sachet of fish oil. 1 Kg of body weight can tolerate 2 mg. My son weighs almost 30Kg now. So, to him the ceiling should be 60mg daily. So, that amount of 10mg of daily intake should still within the safety limit. Moreover, he does not eat everyday. He eats only during week days. So, I will let him finish the stock at home before switching to new brands la. 食完先算! 亞Q精神!

The fish oil was prescribed by my paed to my son. At that time, he got ecyzema. So, the paed prescribed it together with other vitamins to my son. After some time, his ecyzema got cured. His skin became much much better and his appetite became very good and gained much weight. The fish oil sold at the paed is very expensive. So, I searched the internet and successfully located the manufacturer in USA. The products sold are much much cheaper.

DHA is supposed good for brains. But I doubt the effect on my son as he is not attentative and patient most of the time except to his toys, his trains, his Gundom models, etc.

Is Smartfish good too? Let me have a look later. Is it available in Mannings or Watsons?

Besides, Scott Cod Fish Liver oil is different. It supplies vit A but not DHA. But anyways, both of them may have the adverse effect of gaining weight as the appetite of the kids may turn good after taking the oils. :lol
