Yes, 唐人空姐崇西人心態mar. If you are white man speaking English, they will treat you like a king. Of course, you should sit at business class or first class lar. I worked in the advertising agency of CX for 4-1/2 years in HK before. People working in CX always consider themselves the best (well, some of them are really smart but most of them are not). I and my hubby had a very bad experience flying back to HK in 2005; the audio system was broken, the whole plane was full and the air was so congested. My hubby got sicked because of the air circulation and the food. Fianlly, CX gave every passenger a $25 coupon for inflight shopping. Who want inflight shopping coupon? I made a formal written complaint and I got a written appology with 500 mileage point for each of us.
From my experience, if you want a better reply, talk in English, write in English and make formal written complaint to customer services and they cannot ignore it.
For moms who fly back to HK via CX, kid's meal will be provided (you need to reserve) and it is really tasty. For infants under 2 years old, you need to pay 20% of the original flight ticket and the kid will not be provided any seating. He or she needs to sit on your laps, safety belts will be given. Go to the gate earlier, usually they can let you board first so that you won't block the other passengers' way. I have not fly CX since 2005 and hope that they are not so cheap to cut their services. In SF, CX is cheaper than SQ which I consider having a better services.
