我睇D報告話BILINGUAL 既細路係遲講野D GA.所以你都唔使咁擔心.

我記得我99講過話係學校(佢教小學+幼稚園)前幾年有個媽咪好擔心佢個仔講得好少野.但佢而家個仔5歲啦,佢既SPEECH 同其他細路一樣.((話...其實而家咁睇返,個個媽咪嗰時擔心都係多餘既...

我個女幾個月前都只可以講D好易既單字,之後突然有一期佢乜都識講.我諗你個仔梗係不斷吸叫緊人地講D乜,到佢一講得多時佢就乜都識講!

yennie, thks for your sharing, I hope my son will like a chatterbox, I can't sleep well.... ar...next Mon, I will bring him to gov. clinic for acessment, and I know he must fail, but what I can do next? my hubby also think 擔心都係多餘, he believes our boy will talk like normal kid one day. But, for me, I can't wait, I 'm really worry and nervous....
as I mentioned b4, I 'm talking to him in chinese most of time, and teach him in eng, my hubby talk to him both eng and french, but my hubby's eng...(french accent and not accurate), I don't know if it's right for what we're doing now.
Some kids, they learn eng fm int' school, their parent speak chinese only, but they catch both lang. very well...
so that's y I started to speak chinese to him, and hopefully he could learn correct eng fm school..

Nice to meet you. Your girl also born on April 07.
I can understand your warry, but I do believe it's normal for a mix BB if they learn multi language. They will start talk later around 3 year old.
My girl alos born on April 07, she can't say any word yet, if like to say, I am not sure should I warry, I thought she willl be slow on this. As I speak Cantonese, my husband speak Dutch, when we both together we speak Eng.
If you are very warry, try to get the advise from the speech specialist.

hommers, thks for your sharing as well.. actually, I 'm worry about my boy who is 2.5 yrs old, and my girl is still young, but I will keep talking to her ...I don't want my girl will be same as her brother.

唔好咁擔心FAIL 唔FAIL啦,我都唔明點解D人要SET D咁既TASK.點解要咁樣衡量人喎.生長過程呢D野,仌人都唔同,無準則GA MA!

我而家係英國,同我6299住.我都想同亞女講多D中文,但好多時因為6299係到,所以講英文.到咗宜家...一同親亞女講野就會不自覺咁轉咗英文台...唉!
我都有諗過會教壞亞女D英文,所以老公周不時都糾正我既讀音,仲要我讀故事書畀佢.因為大家都知道老公無可能日日都得閒同亞女睇書,所以呢個重任就落咗係我身上.亞女睇都係英文電視.我個時都有擔心佢唔明中文(事實上我一講中文佢就唔明...失敗!),但我2月尾會返HK住幾年,咁我訧放心晒!我個妹寄咗D中文既VCD畀亞女睇,雖然係講中文,但亞女依然係用英文黎同我講返劇情...真係激死.
我睇網上好多細路未入學時唔識講中文,但一返學後一個月就PICK UP得好快,我諗你都唔使唔擔心.船到橋頭自然直!

Today, we went to the gov'clinic, and Dr. said my boy passed it, so surprised!! and Dr. told me my boy is a smart boy, he could understand most of the question and instruction, but just only can't express himself well.. so she asked me bring my boy to chk again when 3 y.o. ..
And during this accessment, she used eng, but very simple, and when she asked my boy which pic shown the boy is writing, he couldn't point to the right pic. and most of the question just request him to point out, but not speaking.
so, I felt very confused wz this acessment.. anyway, she made me feel a bit better...
