APS 的 phonics課程,是自行設計的,但會以牛津(字典)的音標為準。學校的一些 phonics的工作紙 會和學校所用的英語讀物有關,至於學校設計這些工作紙,有沒有參考RWI課程,我就不知道了。五/六年級會用牛津的 New Headway Pronunciation 課本,但課程還是以學校所派的工作紙為主。
工作紙教授音標符號,字和句的音標,spelling for vowel sounds, voiced and voiceless consonants,the shwa, -s/-ed等讀音變化。牛津的課本就有字詞形態轉變時或不同情況下的讀音變化,例如: (1) contractions and weak forms in the Present Perfect, (2) sounding polite, enthusiastic ..... (3) weak form of "to", "a", "the"......, (4) word and sentence stress, (5) stress and intonation, (6) linking.......

Yes, its a good place to go. I give up the log the application for Lesley and Duncan to go to the Group lesson in this year. Because it quite new at the moment. But I will try on the next summer holiday.
