My aunt and uncle will be here until mid-May and we are having my grandpa's 80th celebration at "chiu lau" next Friday. We took my MIL to black angus for dinner last night to celebrate with her...not sure what we're doing for the women on my side. I told my husband not to get me a mother's day gift and add it on my gift list when we go to HK

I think becuz my hubby is americanized, that's why he celebrate with me. He actually bought me something for mother's day last year when I was still pregnant with natalie :-P :-P :-P Don't worry about baby's eye problem, I think since he is so young, there are many many ways you can fix them. He is very cute and chubby...you should take more pictures to share with us and not miss this precious time :lol: :lol: :lol:

You are superwoman already for taking care of 2 babies...just wait til Kyle is a little bigger before worrying about dieting. You don't want to get weak at this time. I ate everything the first 6 months after giving birth...I just begin to diet a little now that natalie is 9 months. If you diet too soon...you will get "cheon"...

Good to hear from you. I think the twins will get used to the nanny after awhile so she can help you out with feeding too. Did you 99 complain about this new nanny

Good luck to your greencard! Nobody knows how long it takes for FBI to finish a job, but checking it more frequently may help.

My BNO expired already, and did not appear for a new one (because it's expensive and has only a few pages to use!) But I don't think UK will take back your old one, as u said, u still have other countries' visa on it that's useful to u, that's no reason they should take it from u.

And Alex's new costume is so cute! His eyes are still BIG BIG BIG!!!

My 99 haven't complain on this nanny yet, but she is trying to ask every single details about the nanny. When we told her that we had gave up on the nanny search awhile ago and maybe quitting my job, she was calling her friends in our area and find us one. This nanny is a friend of her friend, I hope she is not going to complain.

前日我老公送咗花,氣球, 仙人掌類既植物(因為我成日唔記得淋水,所以種其他花都會死),同埋chocolate 比我作為mothers day 既禮物呀...我都有d 驚喜架,因為無諗住佢會送咁嘢比我...

我岩岩幫你問咗我朋友,佢前排先renew 本BNO..佢話本舊既唔會收咗你,但係就會cut 咗隻角..咁係就上網download 份form, 連同, HK ID card, 舊既BNO, 兩張相, 一起寄去英國領事館係 washington 既office..咁就用credit card 嚟付款. 佢就用federal express 嚟簽收個隻寄去囉..佢就二至三星期,就收到本新既..而有人一星期倒..都好快囉( 我咪話, 都唔知佢都係唔好得閒無嘢做,所以先咁快)..而佢就揾朋友個老公嚟countersign囉, 佢係副校長嚟..
我本BNO 都到九月到期. 我都要renew 呀...但係我都覺得手續費好貴呀...

我個佬瞓覺又係出好多汗.依家咪每日同佢換一次pillow case 囉..

So jealous you get to go to macau soon. I still have to wait few 6 more months before going back to HK

Regarding the teething, Natalie didn't really cry or fuss that much. Every baby is different, I just noticed she drool a lot and likes to bite on stuff (everything) ?-( ?-( ?-( ?-( My husband and I were thinking of taking a trip to vegas becuz it's only 3.5 hrs away...but we also worry about the 2nd hand smoke. :evil: :evil: :evil:

I love bread too...especially sourdough and baguette...they are very tasty with just plain butter

Natalie's ped. also prescribed her some vitamins with flouride. I brought it home but haven't given it to her yet. I will probably start now that she is teething. If Baby Alex is eating well and on target of his weigh, you can probably wait til he starts teething before giving it to him. I love Alex's new picture and his hat...was it handmade by your family member

I hope Natalie can go back to her sleep routine soon. Last night, she cried at 1am, fell back asleep, and then woke up at 6:45 am...then I fed her and she fell back asleep until 10am...our schedule is all wacked

My hubby is adding my gift to the year end HK wishlist... :lol: :lol: :lol: Today, my hubby and I had to go to 2 weddings so my family came over to babysit Natalie. I think she missed me so much, she wouldn't go to bed at her normal time (9:30pm). She waited for us until 11pm and when she heard my voice as I walked in the door, she started crying. My aunt told me she was pointing to my wedding picture to express something to them...I felt so sweet :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi All Moms,

Hope u all had a great Mothers’ Day yesterday!

Yes, we were back from HK Tue nite. bb is still adjusting to the jetlag. i've been busy looking for a nanny/helper again, cos our previous p/t helper quit since she'll be having her own grandkid soon. also, i plan to send bb to preschool for 1/2 day next month after he got his 2-yr-old check-up. however, i still haven't enrolled him yet.

Please let me know if u hv any nanny/housework helper refferal in the Bay Area (we live in North San Jose).

btw, HK is really hot and mostly rainny these days, so it's not a good time to visit HK now (i think probably after late November is better).

When did u meet each other? i wish i were there to join u! hopefully we'll get a chance to meet each other later.

Glad to hear that u finally found a good nanny who is someone known by yr 99. i just put up an ad on the newspaper, but the result this time is also not very good ... sigh ... i hate starting the painful process again. i'm a bit afraid that i won't be able to go back to work by the time bb turns 3. after i've stopped working for 2 yrs, i'm not as confident as before if i'm going back to work now. also, the male hiring managers might be discriminating me.

星期日好似係mini-matt"s day 咁.因為我哋去咗walmart 買咗d 玩具比佢. 本來想買 leap frog 既learning table.但係睇唔到, 其他brand 既又唔鍾意,最後,買咗fisher-price 既 learning home 比佢, 雖然係貴咗d,但係好似好玩好多, 我昨晚用咗成30分鐘嚟put it together...同埋我哋又買咗同brand 既成個hippo 咁既樣既pushing walker 比佢..仲有soft fire truck, rubber crocodile..你話,係唔係亞仔最大收鑊呀????

個movie 好攪笑呢..其實肥佬都試過咁上下既經驗..話說,係亞仔二,三個月時,同我老公既哥一家食lunch..食食下,亞仔肚餓,係個carseat度郁嚟郁去..咁多數, 係街, 都係肥佬揍仔,我食飽,就到我個隻..咁嗰日,又係咁.佢一抱起mini-matt , 亞仔就雙眼瞌上, 咁就對準佢daddy 既nipple, "鍾"個頭去吮.(你都知我老公又係肥佬一名,咁個QQ 都有番咁上下).由於事出突然, 肥佬都比佢吮咗一嘢..我見到,就笑到我屎.佢亞哥其中一個朋友都見到,又係笑到唔停得口..咁肥佬就係咁話"尶介屎." ...諗起都好好笑...

What a coincidence...we also bought some toys for Natalie yesterday. We went to Downtown Disney to celebrate and bought her 2 baby lego sets. My relative ask why we bought 2 and my stupid hubby said becuz he wants to spoil her

I know which fisher-px table u r talking about...it has a lot more feature than the leapfrog one. I plan on getting natalie the same laugh n learn table plus the stride-to-ride walker when we can go to toysrus. Have you seen the incrediblock set for peekablocks...that looks very interesting too :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
