Hi, all mamas,

Today is a big day for my family because I went to choose the materials and colour of my house that I will built next year.

It's really a hard job, I stay for already 6 hours for choosing and matching colour, it makes me feel headache

However, the process not yet finish, as it's nearly closing time, I still need to make an other appointment to choose the curtain; timber ceiling and decking for the outdoor room........

I think I will not built an other house in the rest of my life....

Thank you so much for very understand as we are so poor ---> got no car, so we can only go to somewhere which is close to the public transport.

你就好啦,雖然係煩d,我明白花多眼亂,你可以將範圍縮少,每樣選3個pattern出來按價錢喜好再3選1,咁就會好d,通常我都係用呢個方法選野.希望幫到你.

實際數據仲未做統計,但表面証供該係oz生活費比hk平.
租樓: 比hk平多了,因為除了月租平左,還不用地稅,差響等
車: hk我地車已買斷只比油同停車場,但呢度要供車和保險,不過不用比停車場,油錢又比hk平(暫時每星期約入$50油),出街泊車好多時又唔使比$除左去city,整體也比hk平.
生活費: 係hk要比好多雜費,又訂有線同now tv之類,呢度只係電話(用緊$29.95月租line)同上網($39.95/月)貴.依家仲探索緊最平既plan.(水同電bill好似一季, 依家都仲未收到)
學習費: 係hk佢地要補習,學drawing......之類,呢度暫時不需要,只係大2個既英文班費用.同1月會同細女報暑期班.(好似可以claim返childcare)
食用費:呢度如果搵到平市集,一次過買一星期餸就真係平過hk,例如上星期買左$5菜同水果,食到依家都未食完.呢度gas都唔平,所以我地會減少煲湯次數,因為我係湯后,好喜歡飲湯,平均2日煲一次,依家要減一星期煲一次好了.
學費:呢樣好明顯係貴過hk,(主要係指中學,小學都不算貴)校服都貴好多,不過睇下用幾多年,除返開都acceptable既.仲有每月取到既補助(family tax benefit: max rate: under 13child $4317.95/year, 13-15years $5332.65/year) 相信夠cover有餘,所以總計各方面都係平過hk囉.

Oz生活費比hk平!!好野,我依家又放心多d啦.你知啦,我做開野有收入,去到Oz淨靠老公比$$,總系擔心佢負擔重.2個細路正是用錢來培育的階段.總之就系"貧賤夫妻百事哀".我知你明白我的. :cry:

要提一提你,呢度某d福利都係由land半年內計,所以你最好land左之後留一段時間,or索性一來就land兼stay2年.
好似我land左1個月返hk,依家2年後才回來,有d讀書free既福利已經無左. :-( :-(
仲有記得land左7日內/後第一時間搞medicare同銀行account.

我認為你不用太擔心,該好好準備小朋友來oz入學既野,反而個人覺得呢度搵工不難,係boxhill centro又見到請3個電話sales咁多tim,如果你不介意工作性質,人地又不介意請你,一定會搵到工做.

再加上每月取既補助,一定夠cover你生活.更何況有你老公做野做後盾.

沒有2年等候期既補助有:
-Family Tax Benefit Part A (一般家庭)
-Family Tax Benefit Part B (低收入家庭)
-Maternity Allowance
-Child care benefit
- carer allowance
- disability support pension
- parenting payment
- special benefit
- mobility allowance
- berearement allowance

我老公有收入應該咩補助都無啦. :-( :-( 你提果d補助,有無唔洗睇家庭收入都可以申請呢?咩工作性質我都唔介意,只要可以賺$$就得(除左不正當職業).

收入既野我都唔係好清楚,暫時我都未申請centrelink補助,想睇定d先.
銀行account,我老公係hk既hsbc就開左個oz戶口,方便轉數同找hk既費用,而我自己就係oz開左個獨立戶口用來處理oz既一切費用(例如收centrelink補助,仔女學校開支......我覺得咁會清楚d同易打理d咋)因為呢度開account睇你passport到左幾多日,某限期內開先唔收錢,無記錯好似7日內.

照你咁講我系唔系應該系hk既hsbc就開一個銀行account,方便轉數用,再系oz開個戶口用來處理一切oz既費用(咁會清楚d同易打理羅).hk既hsbc開Oz account洗唔洗收手續費呀?

唔係話你honey有income就唔可以有補助, 係補助既多少depends on your honey's income, if your honey's income is high, then centrelink payment will be less, 直到你honey既income and 你地既 total assets到左centrelink既上限, 咁既情況你先唔可以得到centrelink payment

payment is not very important if compare it to Health Care Card, if you have Health Care Card, you can buy your medication by paying less than usual, So when you arrive at Melb, remember to apply your Health care card and Medicare card as soon as possible.

Hi Cecilia,

如果你honey's income already meet the上限, 你仲有一個方法可以apply Health Care card.

如果你的小朋友仲未有apply Family Tax Benefit (所謂既牛奶金), 你可以幫佢apply Family Tax Benefit, 咁你就可以apply到health care card
